I know that FM comes with a higher risk of UTIs but has anyone else had pains in a wider area eg in the buttocks and the legs as well as groin and lower back? I just started a course of antibiotics yesterday so waiting for them to work. I spoke to doctor on phone yesterday and he said to come in if they’ve not worked within 48 hours. They're making me feel a bit lousy which is to be expected, I guess. If they get rid of the pains then it will be worth it.

Hi FoggyMoggy
Yes I get sharp pains in the buttocks - so much so that it has me leaping up screeching in pain, much to the amusement of my colleagues. Have to say it’s the only time I seem to be able to get up or off a chair without help. Every cloud I suppose😂. The pains I get in groin are related to my arthritic hips. Luckily hardly ever get UTIs so my buttock pain isn’t related. Hope the pain eases soon.
