Mine is on my right side but not all the while mine click its called a trigger jaw something to do with the ligerments around the jaw socket I have had this about 20years if you rub your fingers gently on the top of your jaw for about 2/3minutes it will help to relive the pain

I have a condition called Bruxism which is a fancy word for grinding your teeth in your sleep. It irritates your jaw joints and muscles and is usually worse on the side you do most of your chewing.

I bought a grind guard on the internet that holds top and bottom teeth together safely. You can cut them and mould them to fit with hot water.

Been an absolute godsend. Only cost around £5, so might be worth a go.

Yes when I eat, chew, or even talking and then all trigger excruciating pain in my brain. On the other hand we can’t go without food 🥘

You are not alone and take care

Good morning I have recently been suffering from toothache and earache which just wouldn’t go. Got antibiotics from gp incase of ear infection and some from dentist incase of an abscess . All was guessing game as couldn’t get to see either. Finally got dentist appointment with X-ray and all ok . Put it down to flair up with fibro and after few days of trying not to stress it went away as quick as it came!! Another weird symptom I guess. Hope you feel better soon

Hi hitman57, yes at times the first bite of something I get terrible sharp pain where the jaw bone hinges onto the facial bones. It justs stops me in mid chew and I have to masage the area till the pain goes and then I can eat ok. Fibro, the gift that keeps on giving. I really hope you don't get too many attacks of the jaw pain. Take care and try not to let this condition called fibro get you down.Best wishes and gentle hugs, x Elaine
