It could be that you have simply hurt yourself or bumped against something which has left a bruise, but you haven't remembered hurting yourself.

If all your blood tests are coming back normal I would say there's not much to worry about, but none of us are medics here, so the best thing you can do is to see your GP and explain your worries to them. They will be able to put your mind at rest.

Yes I agree to go to GP but if your blood tests are ok then i would think your liver is ok, as they would be able to look for markers that show raised (whatever they are called) levels to indicate an issue with you liver :)

Do you overuse a hot water bottle? I have a mark from my hot water bottle that is like a bruise..

Hi Lauren1987, I agree with the previous comments.

The problem start's when your blood test results come back raised/high , which in your case are fine.

I'm taking lot's of medication as I have number of medical conditions. Recently my GP asked me if I drink alcohol ? I burst in to laugh because the strongest drink I drink is Pepsi here and then.

She said my liver is not happy at all and if after next blood test no change, I need an ultrasound 😬. I'm not going to worry myself to death about it. Not much I can do .

Life is too short , enjoy it and don't let every little thing spoil your happiness !

Talk about it πŸ˜‰πŸ˜ŠπŸ‘.

Any pain medication can be harmful in large doses, Have you seen your doctor about this? We are not trained medical professionals, (although there are a few retired nurses).

Have a word with your Pharmacist; they know far more about medication and it's side effects than a doctor.

I find I get unexplained bruising, but most are innocuous; However talk to your GP about that one, It seems an unusual place for a bruise, especially as you already have concerns about liver damage.

You can fret your life away and it will only give you grey hair and wrinkles. It isn't worth it. I used to worry and fret, now I realise that at 72 I'm on limited time and just want to enjoy myself!

The liver is the only organ in the body that is able to regenerate. Paracetamol is harmful to the liver if you overdose or take it when you don't have pain. To check your liver the dr should take liver function blood tests as a full blood count only tests you for anaemia or blood disorders. If you're worried get the GP to discuss it with you and explain it to you properly.
