Broken foot on top of everything

Merry Christmas everyone well don’t really no how use this slipped on decking and snapped my ankle 10 weeks ago all bolts an pins now happen night before moving to new home all I can do is hop with frame due to have pot off on 7th jan moved yesterday in so much pain and seen wake at this time all time , all on my own bit scary, Iv been left snacks and flask till my friend calls in morning how is it can manage in day but panicking at night I’m non weight bearing so can only hop my hands kill from frame sorry for moan but helped me a bit

So so sorry hope you feel better soon - if you want something to take your mind off it - it's my birthday today we are now doing over a four hour drive to Portsmouth - we are heading for the M25 - heavy rain , heavy traffic + only been in car half an hour and back hurts - going to mother in law and she told me yesterday forgot to get beef out so we have spag Bolognese ( I can't eat spag)- husband forgot birthday card - so atmosphere in car! - would have a drink when I get there but it makes me ill !

How awful. That must be tough managing that when living alone. I imagine it must get you down, it would us all.

I hope you have things you can do to keep your mind off it; perhaps we should have a post recommending favourite box sets 😁.

Usually sew on machine got loads half done presents so not be getting till after but started doing bit crotchet only thing keep falling asleep with pain meds allready on an few extra but at least only lose one stitch if knit be whole row an harder to pick up lol have a good xmas

Oh dear, it sounds horrid. Poor you! You must be feeling sorry for yourself. Kudos though, for having bionic pins and bolts holding you together. Bound to be an improvement!

And the relying on your hands and arms for support getting around. I can imagine it is causing major fibro jip! Role on the new year when your ankle will be healed.
