Hi all. Not posted in a while but I’ve been on off busy trying to post more videos on my Journey with Fibromyalgia. I’m aware after my last post on here I got a lot of positive feedback and you all wanted to hear more.

As for my current state it’s sadly not a good update. I was on ESA for few months but was asked to go for a one 2 one and after two weeks was told I didn’t score enough points and ended my payments, I was completely shocked and the worry is untrue right now. I did send the letter off to fight it and they said after over a month of waiting they stand by the decision and that’s end of. The next stage is to appeal however 4 days on from getting my paperwork to do that the link online is constantly down! No doubt on purpose.

I am now going down the PIP route but so worried I’ll get nowhere with that too based on how I was treated on ESA after only a few months.

Brief past information I was able to keep working though on reduced hours and did so for 4/5 months but my mobility got worse and worse so had to give up my flat and move home and give up my job few months later. I’m trying to stay positive as I can but my parents are not well off and I need that money to keep my phone on and so on and I should fully be entitled to help in my current state and so angry at how I’ve been treated. Any advice is as always much appreciated.

You shouldn't even have had to go to appeal, it's just not fair when you are clearly suffering. If you have to have a face to face make sure you take someone with you as an advocate. Please take care of yourself

I just feel like the only one who’s taken my seriously is my GP but the help I’m getting now after over a year is with occupational health and I just want some more solid treatments plus some money to help support me through this difficult time. They’ve said while esa is cut off and the like I should go claim job seekers but seems stupid as current not well enough to work so claiming it seems highly counter-productive! I’ll get there in the end,,, it’s just the process has been so lengthy even to get the responses back while I try to keep fighting on. Anyways thank you for replying! We all just need to keep up the good fight 💪😊

Morning , you might have already seen our link but il post just in case,,healthunlocked.com/fibromya.... Yes it’s very hard when uve had to move back with your parents , very difficult and upsetting reading quite often here members struggles. Everything I read here some to be back logged and people scoring low points. Wishing you the very best one little plus I can think of is your parents might be enjoying your company how ever long it lasts, I know my son came home for 16 months for different reasons but I actually liked seeing him more, take care .

Bless you Chris, thats really awful news. Emotional stress is so bad for fibro.

Good luck with your appeal - fight them all the way, there will be lots of great advice on here to help you
