Chronic hip sciatica pain

I've have chronic hip pain like a sore feeling

And also have the neuro pain from a back injury

This hip pain is new and has kept me in bed a lot anyone had similar

I am sorry do you suffer with Fibro at all? Your still very welcome here but just thought you may get more help from a more appropriate forum that deals with that kind of pain.

We do have quite a lot of members who do have nerve pain has well has Fibro, Hopefully they will be able to share their experiences with you.

Yes I too haves sciatica.staying in bed is not good,move about best you can,,use a heat rub like voltarol or brufen I have bought Voltarol plasters. Not heat pads,,140 mg Voltarol in the plasters or nurofen similar 200 mg. Sit in dining chairs not arm chairs..if you can get to a local pool that has a Jacuzzi then get someone to take you..I am going later today..move about is the secret not staying in bed. The more you move the easier it will get..

Hi julieamy - I'm so sorry to hear of your pain problems. When my fibro flares, I use a TENS machine during the day and heat pads at night, but I had a hip pain flare which wouldn't respond so I went to the GP. Turns out I had bursitis which an injection of steroids quickly fixed. That was seven months ago and though I still have some hip pain, it's 'only' the fibro. Have a chat to your GP to see if they think it might be this. Try to walk as much as you can too as keeping the joints moving will definitely help. Have a lovely day

I have fibro and a neuropathic pain from a spinal cord incomplete injury I am on fentanylbpwtches pregabalin fluoxetine and clonazepam and still feel the hip pain which is getting worse
