Some days are worse than others and with fibro you get different degrees of effect some people are barely effected can function well others are bed bound and you have everything inbetween for so many its one of a number of conditions making the other conditions less barable, fibro is a personal disability which shares a lot of symptoms but can be so different to the person with fibro next to you and it has waves flares you sometimes feel better but in reality the flair has ended and your back on your normal level after a flair though normal level feels good lol hope this makes sense im known to waffle rubbish lok

Hi Annab124 and welcome to FMAUK ! :)

Although there is currently no cure, many people can live with Fibromyalgia by listening to their body and adapting techniques like pacing, stress reduction, progressive muscle relaxation, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), graded exercise therapy (GET) alongside medication and complementary therapies. It's a different life than yo may be used to so a journey to acceptance can have it's ups and downs, but we all here understand and can be online support as you go through the stages of this. Life is precious and a diagnosis of Fibromyalgia is something that needs time to adjust to and it's challenging to say the very least but it's achievable as many here will tell you. Don't give up ....... we are all here to listen and do keep posting :)

Hope you are feeling as well as can be today

Emma :)
