Good evening All. Not very good at commenting. I am not in the supported group and my PIP still on going. But l find it really difficult to switch off (sleep) and sometimes up till 4.00am early in the morning. Any tips please.

Apologies for not saying much.
Hi Tolula,
I am also having trouble with sleep. I'm not sure if I can help but sometimes I will try and stay up all the way through then go off and do something at 'decent o'clock) say like, a walk, or the local shop or try to do something 'crafty' to keep myself busy for as long as possible in the hope that I can stay awake long enough to go to bed at a reasonable time.
I'm sure if you google it, there will be lots of advice about it.
Sorry if I'm not much help.
A x
Wow, it is good to know that l was not imaging my problems. I have tried some of your suggestions but end up with more pain. Thank you so much. Will definitely visit the site you mention on Google.
Yes, that's true. So I only do it when I have an early appt to get to, cos otherwise I sleep through. At the moment, I can maybe sleep for up to 3hrs, then I'm awake again. I'm always worried about something so tend to sleep when my body had had enough. Not the best way, cos then my IBS flares up and I end up eating at silly times too... never-ending cycle! Not sure if you're in the UK but maybe the NHS website might be a good place to start.
Zopiclone works for me. Just dont take it every night.
Maybe try some herbal sleepers like Kalms or Nightall, they do help but can give you naffy breath I,m afraid.
