Hi 👋

Yeah I get them, I wake up absolutely soaking in sweat 😓 it’s not nice x

Yes, but not all the time.

Do you know what's causing the hand pain.

Yeah I don't get them every night, hand pain, doctors just say that it fibromyalgia or rheumatoid arthritis that's there answer for everything.

Clare, it is possible you may be clenching your fist as you sleep or falling asleep consequently when you wake and stretch your hands they will hurt.

This is something l do when I've had a particularly difficult day..As well as Bruxism ( teeth grinding)

Try to make a conscious effort to relax all your muscles and limbs difficult l know when your body is screaming out in pain.

Hi Caromia, many years ago I used to love listening to visual relaxation cds which helped me a lot with panic attacks.. I have tried them now to relax me with my fibro pain especially in bed. Sadly I find as my body does relax my pain is more noticeable and I can no longer stop my mind racing. If anyone has any other tips it would be great to hear about them. Take care x

Best thing I have done for pain (mostly in the hands) was to give up diet coke and anything else with artificial sweeteners in. Worth a try?

The artificial sweeteners are well known for being bad for fm and cfs sufferers

Sugar in my tea/coffee. Water. Avoid anything else with artificial sweeteners.
