Night sweats noisey digestive system?
Hi and a warm welcome to our community.. here you will find information, support, friendship and laughter too. You can find more general information on fibromyalgia at our main website fmauk.org
Yes to the noisy stomach ....
I also get night sweats but they are partly fibro/partly menopause (I did get them occasionally before menopause)
So you are not alone with both
Thank u it's so important to educate my self and help of others it's as though we're our own experts in this condition x
Hi Lolbaker and welcome, sorry to hear that you've got this horrible condition and as such a busy time in your life looking after children! My answer is yes to both your questions I do have a noisy tummy I put it down to my ibs also get the sweats and they can come on at any time of the day or night I'm well past menopausal age Take care xx
U to lovely thanks for response to my weird symptoms xx
Yes siree! I’m a bit deaf and I often think it’s noises coming from the street- and it’s coming from my gut! I have IBS and Diverticulosis- have you any allergies or food intolerances?
The sweats at night yes too. But not as bad as when in the menopause!
Are you sleeping in man- made fibres? They’re a plague to my skin. Have to have cotton everything ( or silk!) princess and the pea moi.
I think I have developed allergies I have hay fever and have just got over itchy itchy eyes and skin I never had hay fever before the fibro I only sleep 3 hours a night only thing gets me to sleep is zopiclone but only took it for two weeks I swear I could hear a pin drop in the desert my nervous system is so oversensitive x x
Yes, I get the sweats usually in bed or after eating. I hear my guts more when anxiety is high. This makes all my senses much stronger so hearing and smelling are heightened.
Chronic itching, more at night, also a problem.
I am taking half an atarax tablet twice a day, half an asda hayfever once a day, a valerian capsule and some cbd oil.
This seems to have reduced the above symptoms for now.
I am not wearing the amount of clothing that I wear in the winter so that may be helping lower the itching as well.
My allergy cough and runny nose have also improved.
I dont eat a lot as I think certain foods affect me too.
It's awful I'm the same I worry it's some thing else to also do u get same pain in area every day ?mines my lower back radiates up to chest xxx
Yes I get both. Gluten makes my tummy gurgle, among other things and I get awful night sweats. I am menopausal t got them before, and I’m on HRT so I thought it would help the night sweats a little. It’s helped the daytime symptoms so I’m thinking the night sweats are more fibro.
Yeah I do think more fibro I'm not menopausale but I feel it this old fibro make my moods horrendous I've stopped 50ml of sertraline and I'm starting to cry and laught at the same time as well as feel depressed it's horrible x
Hi I am sat here agreeing with everything that is being said. I have awful trouble with IBS and the sound effects that it makes, I also get night sweats. I stay away from gluten and dairy which really affects my bowel.
I am also new to the site and I am already over whelmed by seeing all the messages of support you share between you all.
Glad you've joined we're all in this together x
