Hi there they should not say complicated more that you have been unfortunate to be suffering with all these conditions at once, fibromaylia in its self would be enough to handle , you will get to read posts where a lot of our members unfortunately due have other conditions on top of their fibro , if you would like to lock your posts it normally generates more replies from people as only this community can see them here’s the link healthunlocked.com/fibromya..., so I hope you get some helpful replies, take care

I too am a complicated case as my go says .... lupus rheumatoid arthritis vasculitus morbid obesity Nash diabetes asthma . and depression alongside the fibro.......and we have to balance the meds so side effects don t compromise one of the other conditions....

I had to retire due to health from a career I loved...I do my best to be positive and despite the chronic pain and fàtigue to find some good on every day. I tell myself I have plans to fulfil until I'm 91 so get on with it ...at 62 I have loads still to do....

I hope you can find a positive way forward ...gentle hugs....

Yes I too have lots to contend with.. .RA ,Fibromyalgia, Diverticulitis, Livedo Reticularis, Antiphospilipid syndrome, Acoustic neuroma ....I too told am complicated case besides lots of other rubbish.

Unfortunately once we get one auto immune diseases we seem to collect them.

I just try do what I can.just moved to a bungalow so things will be easier and social life better.enjoy holidays but worry far too much but that's being human....well I think I am...lol

I used to be a cook in a home for disabled and was heartbreaking listening to their stories of what their lives were like before bad health so my motto is...do what you can while you can as you don't know when you won't be able to

Hi Babylons - I keep saying the same thing... It seems like once we get one AI disease, even if we get it under control, others just seem to line up and wait their turn =(

Thank you for answering my question, of course you want to give your husband a break, I used to do that for my partner too before he died 18 months ago I miss him very much he was so helpful and kind too. I think as I had to manage the journey by myself ( I stayed with friends) I was really unwell when I got home. Do hope you enjoy many more breaks with your husband.

Yeah - I have about 8 autoimmune diseases at this point... New day, new doctor, new diagnosis. I had a sleep study last month, and in the intro, it said "The patient is a _ year old with significant medical history and Sleep Disordered Breathing...", but only listed like three of them - ha ha

Most of us seem to have a group of conditions, and it's so difficult to get anyone to look at the overall impact.

Mine are fibro, asthma, migraine, CFS, non-diabetic neuropathy (diagnosed but never investigated further), insomnia, chronic vitamin D deficiency. Then diagnosed as diabetic three months ago, and now under investigation for a couple of other autoimmune disorders this month.

I have osteoarthritis and 'mild' spinal stenosis too.

Previously adenomyosis and endometriosis.
