At the beginning of this month I managed to fall down stairs, top to bottom. Apparently I bounced well, cuts, bruises and soft tissue injury in my knee (it twisted around the wrong way as I slid down on it the final part of my stunt 😕). Anyway apart from the obvious pain associated with the fibro and the knee it led me to ask the following question.. Has anyone else had a similar type of injury and did you find the fibro hindered your recovery? (Leg in brace and got crutches). Much love x

I've not done it to my knee but have twisted my hip and badly bruised it and found unfortunately it did seem to take longer for the bruising and pain to go than it would previously. I think we are already in so much pain anything else on top can often put us into flare mode. Hope you recover soon. Sorry for the strange type I think my keyboard has developed fibro, lol.x
Lol. Not at you. But I took a dive last night. In slow motion as I tried to stop it. I hurt this morning and been sick to tummy as result. I get ibs when pain flares
I don’t think fibromyalgia slows it, it just makes it quiver. I have lupus and raynauds in feet and hands. So the pain there is amplified therefore I may not give you apple to apples info.
I wish you speedy recovery though!! I broke my leg the week I got dx with the lupus. It was a miserable summer
A quick catch up.. I've had 6 long months off work. Knee still not right but much better. My fibro flares are now much more painful and my reynauds is worse too. I blame the fall! Hope you're doi g as well as you can my lovely x
