Evening all.

New to this group so just touching base.

How is everyone? I'm just coming out of a real nasty flare. It' been a rough couple of weeks. Still in a lot of pain but more at ease with it. Let's hope it stays like this.

Hi Gray1 , thanks for saying hello and welcome to the forum. Sorry you have had to endure a nasty flare but hopefully you are over the worst. You have come to the right place to receive lots of help and support from our friendly members, a good proportion who are male fibro sufferers so hopefully you can share your experiences. However I would just like to mention that you may receive more replies to your posts if you lock them. You don't have to, it's completely your choice however many of our members are not too keen on responding to unlocked ones as they can be read by people outside the community and picked up by internet search engines. If you decide you do wish to lock them then instructions on how to do this can be found on the link below but if you get stuck please don’t hesitate to ask for help.

healthunlocked.com/fibromya...

Also if you have not done so already, you may find it beneficial to check out our main site at some point as there is plenty of useful information and links on there:

Take care and we look forward to seeing you around. x

Hi Gray!, Welcome. I know we all respond to the Fibro in different ways .I've had it 15 years badly and was on 160mg of Morphine a day plus the Pre \gabilin and Cymbalta and Paracetamol. $ months ago I discovered CBD oil and its been fantastic for the pain! I cant recommend it enough. As I've repeated myseld ad nauseum on lots of posts I'm not going into loads of detail here but have a serch.Theres loads of advice and posts on here. Good luck. I meant to say I've so far reduced my Morphine to 70mg a day and still going down.My G.P is amazed!

Hi Gray1 and welcome I also can not rate cbd oil enough you get a portion of your life back without all the side effects from prescribed drugs I am also using hemp patches and wow is all I will say I have managed a whole week at work with pain that is livable a flare completely destroys any hope u had built up on a "good day" but slowly it passes fingers crossed u start feeling that positive feeling soon xx
