Good morning all. Last evening I posted on FaceBook that I was in severe pain in the bottom and was going to bed just after 7 o'clock. Some folk didn't seem to understand how dreadful I felt.
How many of you have a similar pain in the butt? How do you find relief?

Yep I have severe pain in butt and down upper legs. Difficult to sit comfortably and yet too tired to keep moving or standing. I use a heat pad and have a hot bath every evening. I also have a shower every morning. Just let the water run over my sore muscles . Hope you find some relief soon. X
I have the most awful pain in my buttocks, so bad that I shuffle about on my chair, sometimes it’s so bad it brings tears to my eyes.
The pain moves from one cheek to the other and I sit on a very expensive cushion especially for people with severe pain. My medication is beginning to stop now every 4 hours I cry or moan as quietly as I can the pain radiates down my legs, to my feet, that are freezing cold even when it’s hot and sunny.
I’ve been feeling more &more depressed of late, using my electric scooter and disability chair swapping them about. They hurt me after a while too.
No cure
No solution just keep taking the pills Oxynorm or OxyContin. Together with a 100gms Matrix patch. I don’t even get a fussy head anymore.

Morning sweetie I have just been going through this my bottom felt like I was sitting on glass. With my it was nerve related. I had a steroid injection and steroid tablets also diazepam. Or another doctor suggested increasing amitriptyline and pre-Gabalin which I didn’t do. I am nearly three weeks in and it’s just starting to ease up now. I know how difficult it is to live with but you have to keep as much pressure off your bottom as possible. If you can get a cushion ring to sit on it does help a little. I got a white medical foam one from amazon and they are not very expensive. I truly sympathise with you it absolutely awful to deal with. Also if you are in a car it would be wise to sit on a cushion. I truly hope that it ease of soon for you sweetie. Take good care of yourself. Love and hugs 🌹🌿🌹🌿🤗🤗😘😘🤞🤞

Yea I know Jan me too I had my toe nails Genoveva because of financial and one of the got infected so I’m on antibiotics now to Guzzling means a beer You know I’m a little deval

Do you mean tail bone/coccyx pain? It can feel like sitting on glass but improves when standing.
Have you had Vitamin D3 tested?
Mine is hypothyroid related (with poor T4/T3 conversion) and is slowly improving with the addition of T3.
I had the same many years now, about 12 years ago I was diagnosed with coccydinia, how did the doctor find that out? He shoved a finger up my butt and tried to wiggle my coccyx!! After scraping me off the ceiling he diagnosed me with coccydinia! Might be worth looking into xx good luck xx
Hi, yep I'm a pain in the butt too.. Its so uncomfortable to sit sometimes, I sit one sided, giving each side a rest off the chair.
