What a rollercoaster!

After this time last week being so down as I had missed out on a job , and the lovely encouraging words from many of you, this week has had a turn around. The other candidate turned down the offer and so yesterday I was offered and accepted the position.

I am so excited as it is going to be much better for my fibro. More money, less hours and better working conditions. They even go to the pub Friday lunchtime !

Tomorrow I get on a plane for 11 days in India to celebrate my 50th birthday. Hope my fibro copes with the long flight !

Looking forward to warmth, lots of massages and relaxation.

Bad things come in 3 , is that the same for good things ?

Oh bless you Hun, I can’t begin to tell you how happy I am for you. Congratulations on getting the new job. It’s exactly what you need and definitely deserve.

I don’t envy you that flight tomorrow. You’re going to be so sore by the end of it. However, I hope you manage to get a lovely massage when you get there 🤞🤞.

Good things have definitely come in threes for you 😊. I’m so so happy for you. Please take care of yourself and wishing you a wonderful 50th birthday. Lots of love and hugs xx🤗🤗

Well done you! Patience is certainly a virtue that has paid off for you - so pleased 😁 for you!! Hopefully now you have the job in the bag you will relax which should make the fibro much better. Last time I flew I made sure I got an aisle seat and got up every 30 mins for a walk round and drank lots of water which really helped. When I watched a movie I did whole leg tense tense relax excercises and heel toes - it was 9 hours but I got off relatively unscathed so try that? Make sure to have relaxant and pain meds with you so you can catch 30 winks. Fingers crossed it all goes well - India will be fabulous so enjoy 😊 xx

Excellent news, chuffed to bits for you. Now go and enjoy your amazing holiday and have a fabulous birthday. xxx

Hope the trip is wonderful. I think I,d be bitten and eaten alive in India.. I want to go to new Zealand to see family and I am looking for short flight and picking up a ship the rest of the way as my fibro would warrant such a long flight..
