rib pain

i had breast cancer 3 years ago and open heart surgery 12 months ago. I am having terrible pain in my breasts and underneath my breasts in my ribs. I was told this was through the radiotherapy but it is getting worse. Anyone else suffer with this..

Hi.

I had breast cancer and had all the treatment. But I am in constant pain in the same places as you. After many appointments I have been told the same it's the radiotherapy that's done it. Sometimes it takes my breath away. It's quite bad under the breast.

But I haven't had heart surgery, I guess you have mentioned to gp.

It's horrible we fight one thing and then there's another.

Hello mazaeddie wishing you a very warm welcome to the group. Have you been back to see your GP about the pain? It sounds too painful to be ignored. I would strongly advise you make your doctor aware how much you are suffering.

Hi, im sorry to hear you are in so much pain but im releived to find I'm not the only one. I was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2011 and had surgery on my left breast along with radio therapy. I too get pain in my ribs at that side. Some days are worse than others. I've found that I also get really painful muscle cramp under the same breast, does that happen to you?
