Hi Nancy if the pain is that severe I would go to hospital... Don't take painkillers beyond the prescription dose...or it could cause you more serious damage when your in so much pain its hard to keep track of how many you've taken.... As I said my advice is go to A&E...others will offer their guidance and advice... Hoping you get some relief lovely, let us know how you get on xx

Could be a variety of things flare in fibro due to added stress on the body. You could have an infection from the extraction plus a reaction (sickness) to the procedure are agents used to numb the pain for the extraction. As others mentioned it’s best to get it checked out ASAP if your in that much pain. Good luck to you x

If you are in UK try ringing 111. I had very bad dental pain and had several teeth removed at Kings Dental Unit in London. The pain continued - it was fibro and not dental related. Any sort of surgery does seem to make fibro worse. Every time I have had surgery I end up with a savage flare. Take care hope it eases soon

Hi Everyone ..I went to the ER last night they had told us 11 hr waiting period...but after hearing my case they tagged me urgent and only ended up waiting 2 hours...thank god...They gave me another type of Pain medication and some antibiotics..Today is painful again but not as bad since i actually have something that is helping. Today i rest and hope for the best. Tomorrow if lucky i will find another dentist..This one had no sympathy and took no care nor precaution of my health situation. I still feel like my jaw is broken 5 days later...the only good thing about this is that the pain from my face and head took over my usual fibro symptoms..i want to thank all who replied to help. Very happy to see i can finally get quick answers THANK U xo
