I understand about your choice to not take medication that does nothing to improve your problem. I am the same. I was no better pain wise either. But I would not put anyone off for trying what's available. It has been known to be a help for many.

Ooh 😯those you are supposed to wean off best one drug at a time. That would save you from feeling like road kill. You have made it this far 2/3wks if you are still feeling bad please call at least your pharmacist for advice. Going cold turkey is tough you going through the withdrawal symptoms. By weaning off one drug at a time cuts back on the withdrawal symptoms so it would be less “painful” (includes all the missable symptoms). Back in 1998 I was involved in a twin study out of Seattle WA on fibromyalgia and CFS/ME. They wanted us off all medications for that week. Even then with the help of the pharmacist it still was awful and missable during that week. Sleep wasn’t happening, I was sicker than a dog, felt like I stuck my finger in the light socket and I was sick on my stomach. Once I got back home and on those klonapin, amitriptyline and what other meds I was on I was able to sleep, my CNS was calmed it took longer for my stomach to clear up I felt better. I wish you the best with your cold turkey. 🦃 hugs 🤗
