I use Tiger Balm. The red is the strongest. It isn't an oil as such as it isn't liquid but it's the same consistency as Vicks vapour rub. I find it very beneficial for joint pain.

Holland and Barrett do a high level magnesium oil spray and I use that when they hurt too much and especially at night to help the pain when I am trying to get to sleep......I hope this helps

Ive started taking... well a while now ..

Magnesium and b6

Vit D

B12

And even though I still have the flare ups the pain in the legs has eased.

I do take a diofenic sodium 75 mg slow release twice a day.. along with other things for other conditions

Healing hugs xx

If you are willing to try Indian ayurvedic stuff, there is a massage oil called “mahanarayan taila” that i can recommend. You just warm it up a bit and massage your legs with it or you can directly massage your legs with it and then apply a warm towel on top. It really helps my leg pain. It should be available on amazon but please be aware of the markup on costs, it costs only around 2-3$ in India for 100 ml for normal or around 8-10$ for the organic version.

Hi,

Just noticed your post....

I am a trained Aromatherapist, although I can't practice anymore...trying to massage someone now would be ridiculous... lol

Anyway, I would try using basil or black pepper essential oil (can be bought on internet or at some chemists-you only need a couple of drops so a 10ml bottle would last a while) mix a couple of drops into 30 mls of base oil (use plant or nut based such as grape seed oil) don't use baby oil or mineral based oils as these are not absorbed by the skin and you want the essential oil to penetrate into your muscles. (again -try internet or chemist)

Another good oil would be ginger if you have inflammation as well as pain. massage the mixed oil a few times a day wherever you hurt.

Ginger also can help with anxiety as a bonus!

Might be worth a go.....

Yes I agree that Tiger Red Cream is very good also wintergreen but buy it at the cheap shop think you no what I mean as it is very expensive from chemist, also ginger oil mixed with baby oil is very good for massage. Hope you find something that will help you,

Hi, thanks for the welcome x

Yes you can use almond oil, I only said grape seed as its less likely to cause an allergic reaction but if you know you are ok with almond its a really nice oil.

also mixing the oils is fine, no more than 10 drops per 30 ml of base oil so 3 drops of each oil would be fine x
