Hi Inola,

Sorry to hear you can't sleep. Is it the pain that's stopping you from sleeping?

It's probably a mixture of the many symptoms that comes with fibromyalgia?

Can I ask what medication you are taking?

Hello, Yea it was the pain but it was better than it can be, I have tried amitriptyline but now I'm on gabapentin and I have found that my sleep has got a lot worse since I have been taking them and they don't really work that well, I know you have to build them up but come on! I get about a hour and a half where the pain a reduced not gone! And then they wear off and then I have to wait until the next one, normal painkillers don't work for me and I have tried cbd oil and that does nothing 😴 I'm slowly giving up because I don't know what to do

Awful isn't it. There were several of us messaging each other around 2-4 a.m. this morning and it will probably be the same for me tonight too. All I can suggest is the usual - keeping the room cooler than rest of house, no gadgets, tv, phones etc.Epsom Salt bath, Warm drink. I can't sleep at all without pillow between legs to help hips together with three other pillows as I cannot sleep unless I am at a 45 degree angle! weird I know but it works for me. Hope you get som zzzzz soon.

Yep it certainly helps. Have you seen the pregnancy pillows? I am going to steal my daughter's one once she has given birth as it looks amazingly comfortable.

Yeh my friend got one and her kid two now and she still uses it. My husband brought me a tempur pillow and i hated it ha ha!! It hurt my skin it was so hard like sleeping on a brick!!

And it was the softest one....

Horrid isn't it. I did manage 1 hr 30 mins last night then had to be out early for a judging appointment. Stood all day in the cold with some lovely dogs and their owners. Came home frozen to the core, got into a hot bath, emerged lobster red but still cold. I thought I would crash out and sleep but no, here I am still awake. I'm going to be fit for nothing by the time the old man leaves for work at 7.30 a.m. Perhaps we ought to have another sub group for Zombie lookalikes ;)

I WOULD WIN!!!

I think people think “ im goin for a look” like a marylin

Manson or goth look but im just knackered lol....

I get about 2-4 hours a night... thats if im lucky.

I am much better pain wise since cbd oil but i still have trouble sleeping as i seem to have restless legs and arms! They do a dance all night whilst i try to sleep.

Then generally once a month il do a crash and burn which means il go “ im just goin up for a hour kip”

And my husband will have to wake me 17 hours later

Ok so you can be Chairman of the new Zombie sub group ;) and I will be Vice Chair - we should easily find the rest of the committee if we hang around for the next couple of hours!

Perhaps some pink fluffy handcuffs to stop the restless limbs ;) ;) oh sorry forgot the Goth bit ok black fluffy ones ;) - sorry just got to have a sense of humour at this time of night otherwise I would just be rocking in a corner,

haven't been to the cinema in ages because I just can't sit for that long and would annoy everyone by having to get up and wander around. Bad enough when I am in committee meetings and have to wander around the room every so often. The others are used to it but it can be a bit awkward with people you don't know! Yep know the panda eyes look well - regularly seen sporting that look. Perhaps we could start a trend :)
