Gosh tonight is not a great night ... feeling sick.. flu stabbing aches all over and ended up cat napping earlier on so now wide awake... even my faithful dog has gone to bed early without me!

Yeah ... it's pretty crap... I think of the times I would feel like I had flu aches... way before I was diagnosed... I never understood why before.. I often get at the start of the year very bad chest infections and on lots of steroids and antibiotic... normally 3 course of each... this year I ended up in hospital! But I remember hurting so bad and staying in the spare room crying because I felt so ill.
With healing thoughts... I take a few deep breaths and ground myself and feel an energy and then I will look at their name and send these good intentions of healing and energy to them x
I've had this 3 weeks now sever sick feeling migraine headache non stop sweating then cold then sweating with awful sickly sweet smell on my skin yuck!
Healing thoughts to you Barb that you will soon feel much better. Yes I wonder what the sweet smell is as when I had a really bad session I smelt sweet! How odd? Maybe someone will know.

The flu type feeling is so misleading isn't it? I now realise I had fibro for most / all the time I lived in France. I can remember talking to a friend and saying it must be all the cold germs I'm not used to, every time I have to queue in the Post Office I end up feeling like I'm getting flu the next day.......
Only thing for it is rest, painkillers and plenty of fluids as any degree of dehydration just makes you feel worse.

The frequent cold/flu like symptoms and the feeling all my energy had drained away now make sense. It's got worse in the last 2 years, but I don't think Ive got as much joint/muscle pain as some. It's the crippling headaches and neck pain, with the fatigue and costochondritis that are the worst.
Just grateful for all the help on here.
