Morning Paulapips,

I think I can join you on the night long and onerous one bit of horror or fun was when I went to the loo and lavatory seat fell off so I spent ages trying to put it back together again. However, it was a bit like humpty dumpty!

I hope you feel better today and do rest well when you can!

Hi gins, what is this with things falling off? My wardrobe door fell off lastnite as I was going to bed, just had to stand and hold it and yell for my husband, and then I got the usual response, What were you doing with it? I,ll leave you to create my reply! Xx

You,ve guessed! I was trying out my Geronimo act! My OH hasn't had time to mend it yet, so I can't get in there, the door is balanced precariously, so I,ve got to risk my neck to get my boots out! Xxxx

Hello Paulapip64,

Sorry you've had such a bad night, I wondered if this post about muscle creams might be of interest as you could use for joint pain too. Please visit your GP or pharmacist to make sure any new addition to medication regime is OK to use and does not interact with any other medication you are taking before using it.

Hello Paulapips64,

If you can tolerate deep heat I would consider asking the GP for the prescribed cream called Capsaicin Cream as I found it a tremendous help. However, if sensitive I would say best avoided as it does not suit everyone. Here's the link;

I hope this helps :)

Hi paulapips64

I am so sorry to read that you had such a bad night last night. I genuinely hope that you are not suffering too much today as a result?

It is not easy with osteoarthritis when it is playing up. I was wondering if you take anything for this? Such as an anti-inflammatory?

I genuinely hope that you start to feel better soon.

All my hopes and dreams for you

Hi ken thanks for your reply yes I'm taking co codamol codeine mirtazipine and some antiflamitory cream to rub on skin I've had oa since I was 29 after accident 20 years ago I've practically been in pain ever since I am awaiting knee replacement but surgeon is trying to leave it as late as possible coz of my age he said if he do one now I will probably need another one by the time I'm 65 so will have to plod along and put up with it! Lol don't know what I'm laughing at it's not funny! Ha ha x

I am so sorry to hear that it was the result of an accident. I have OA in my spine and right knee and I genuinely understand how horrid it can really be. Being affected by it at such a young age is also so awful. I quite often laugh at my problems, I think we all do it sometimes just to cope?

I genuinely want to wish you all the best with this, and I sincerely hope that you can find some resolution and relief to the issue.

Take care

Ken x

Hi all, My name is Ruby and I am new to this group. After 2.5 years and many tests my Doctors have confirmed I have Fibromyalgia as I had suspected. Obviously like many sufferers my life has changed dramatically to the point I can no longer work.
