Feeling Poorly

Hi all, I feel really ill. I went away for the weekend last weekend and since Monday, I have felt so ill with I think a head cold. Since Monday, I have done nothing but sleep. My mouth is so dry, doesn't matter how much I drink, can't quench my thirst but been like this for years. I started Gabapentin over a week ago so wouldn't have thought it would be that. I ache all over and feel so weak. I am sure I have problems with my sinuses as always getting ear discomfort lately as well as feeling so congested, my eyes feeling so heavy. Due to see a friend tonight in Essex and a Kate Bush Tribute Band in London tomorrow but feel so ill. I feel like I have the flu with my body aches and weakness being worse than ever and I don't feel with it at all. Thank god seeing my Rheumy next week. Sorry for long post but I worry myself. Xx

Sounds like the virus that's getting everyone, I had it 3 weeks ago and still not fully over it.

I get those symptoms when I get a bad flare up sometimes. At first I thought I had got the flu because I ached so much all over and felt so ill. It was a mammoth task just getting out of bed to go to the loo! After the third of fourth time it happened I realised it was the fibro.

It isn't like that every time I get a flare up, but just one of the many ways fibro affects me. Maybe it yes the same for you, but you won't know until you get it again. Hope it's just a virus and you get better soon. 💕

Hi sweetie it definitely sounds like you have picked up the virus. I also had it for about 3 weeks and it takes quite sometime for you to get your energy back after the virus has gone.

It sounds like you might not be able to go for your night out as it wouldn’t do you any good what so ever. Please rest and stay home there will always be another time that you will be able to go. Hot drinks and paranormal for you sweetie. I hope that you will feel better soon. Love and hugs 🤗🤗🌹🌹😘😘

It could be a bad flare up due to your exhaustion but it could also be this virus then went around. The fr mouth etc could be the tablets though - so there may be more than one underlying cause. I would advise taking it easy with chicken soup and cloudy lemonade (they helped me ). I saw your due to go to a Kate Bush tribute - if it had been the real one I would Have insisted you go but maybe it’s worth taking some time to yourself and allowing your recovery :) hope you feel better soon and you don’t feel like you have been running up that hill to go out
