Hello everyone. I, hope your all keeping safe and well. I haven't been diagnosed with fibromyalgia, my Dr is not very helpful at all, but I'm pushing it now. My new simptom is my neck and throat. Clicking in my throat, stiff neck?? Any help x

I get a stiff neck, but I’m not sure if that is down to Fibromyalgia or Parkinson’s. What other symptoms do you have?

Unfortunately you do have to keep onto your GP in order to get a diagnosis! Sorry don't have any problems with my throat, except for this awful cold!! xxx

Thanks for posting about your problems with your neck however I'm afraid I cannot relate to this experience as I personally do not have neck pain. Have you previously had any trauma to your neck area at all? Do you have any other symptoms you feel fit the picture of Fibromyalgia? Have you been referred to a Rhuematologist or spoken to your GP about a referral?

Diagnosis can be tricky and often a lengthy process alongside the possibility your neck may be a entirely separate issue as some members have a primary diagnosis with Fibromyalgia secondary to this medical condition.

Hi yes lots off other stuff going off that's just the latest. I have twitching muscles all over not all the time ibs, pins and needlesin hands as soon as I get into bed restless leg, crawling feelings in legs, general pain in muscles, all of a sudden my wrist or ankle could go like iv sprained them, then go back to normal, very odd, sometimes loud noise will go through me to. Cloudy eyes in the morning for about 1 hour, can sleep anytime so tired, then I can't sleep.. Lots xxx

Hi Bexs8080 welcome to fibro land! I hear what you are describing- try to insist your gp send you to a specialist physio to help you with some appropriate excercises, maybe enquire if there is hydrotherapy available close by- I travelled 10 miles initally for hydro but I had used it years ago for another illness and I knew it worked so persevered. I go weekly now.
