Hi does anyone else suffer from burning pain .where you go though roof with pain when touch. Also clothers x beddings hurts

Hi Cathy, unfortunately, it’ a fibro thing. You have my sympathy as there’s no easy answer.

I find the pain on being lightly touched is very difficult, because other people get upset if you tell them that it hurts and sometimes get huffy about it (despite having been repeatedly told over countless years. It seems to be something that is met with complete disbelief, despite getting them to read about it.

I get burning skin on my shins mainly, but also where my skin feels like it’s been rubbed raw on my underwear, but hasn’t. I’m constantly on the hunt for soft, comfortable clothes and it’s not unknown for me to change clothes several times in a day. What works on day, might not work the next. When it comes to bedding, with much smoothing and adjusting going on and the slightest crease feels like a mountain. I’m sorry that I haven’t got any answers for you.

Morning us fibros certainly sensitive to pain if I accidentally knock myself I go through the roof , I have seen others on the forum say they suffer with burning though take care yasmintina xx

Yes, the burning feet mostly but days were every piece of clothing hurts like hell., and yes even the bed sheet has seemed determined to feel,like razor wire.

Hello cathy1110 Yes is the answer fibro can affect your skin, I hate being touched, I struggle with bed clothes some nights, my knuckles can sometimes feel like Ive trapped them in a door,, I have adopted my own remedy for this, I was told a few years ago I have arthralgia in my hands and I soak them in warm water, pat them dry then apply Votarol gel like hand cream, inbuprofen works too but it leaves a sticky greasy feel. I coat the whole of my skin in DOUBLEBASE gel (not diprobase) it helps as I itch a lot in crevices because of dry skin ..

Yes I have that pain everyday it's horrible. It even hurts to take a shower. I very rarely wear a bra they are so painful. Some days it hurts to even put on my socks. Yes we fibromites are a sensitive lot {{hugs}} xx

Yes I've got this it ended up turning into Raynaud's. I get a lot of neuropathic pain. Sometimes I can't even bare a mild breeze on my fingers

I too get burning pain in my arms it feels like i have been burned and my clothes hurt me and have to wear loose clothing
