Hi everyone

I’ve borrowed my mums vape and CBD oil as she couldn’t get on with it. I’ve only used it a couple of times but it’s giving me funny chest pain and sore throat. Is this normal!

100% CBD

Kik vapourisor

Thank you

Betty

I have the Medipen one if I have more than say three good puffs in less than 2 hours Inger a stonking headache so I tend to only use if desperate and when I am in bed it does take that horrible edge off the pain.x

If it helps a few others have has the same problem. I suppose as well it is rather like some meds our bodies have to get used to something new. The last fee times I have breathed in more shallowly when inhaling and blowing out and seem to have had less side effects. Worth a try perhaps we had been vetting slightly too much into our system.z

Good idea. I had been taking in quite a bit. As I don’t smoke it probably was a shock to the system

Hi Betty boo I don’t think I can say but if you know someone who smokes it ask them or you can buy the oil from Holland and barratt and you just put a few drops under your tongue it’s not as strong as some oil but it’s good to start off with xx

I've been using a vape with cbd and not experienced any side effects (I take 2-3 puffs as needed.

However as cbd is non-regulated ... it could be something to do with an additive that has been added to the cbd for example. X

Is there a possibility your allergic to something - was the vape clean when you got it ? Has it been used for tobacco

Hi

No the vape was clean and only used for the CBD oil that Mum gave me. Maybe I’m allergic to it :-(

Can't comment on the CBD oil but I do have experience of vaping in one of my quit smoking attempts. Or "swapping to something less harmful" attempt (as my addict self was trying to do lol). Erm yeah, I didn't get on with it. Hurt my lungs (and this from a 30 year smoker :o ), got a sore throat off it and a headache and a yucky oily like taste in my mouth (again this from a smoker!).

Ultimately I did quit smoking but not with a vape. Yucky ...

Thank you. That’s exactly what’s happening. I’ll try it for a few more days. And if I can’t get on with it. It’ll go back to Mum!

I don’t vape but have been trying cbd. I tried the sublingual drops. So tired the next day headache and dehydration leading to uti. I’m now on tablets and don’t seem to have anyside effects. Someone suggested that the drops I had were suspended in hemp oil which is a known allergen. Might be worth checking your vape oil x
