My life is improving

Hi all I’ve been taken CBD oil for 5+ months now and it’s changed my life. The most important factor is I’ve cut down on my amitripline dose from 50 to 25mg and all of a sudden I see my dirty windows I see the mess in my home and it’s day 4 now and I’m still cleaning! My windows are clean my house is in order and I actually took my own rubbish down to the bin. I’m praying so hard every minute that it will continue. I couldn’t see any future for me but now please god I will continue to be as good as I am now touching hugs Mar x

how do you take the cbd and where do you get it, so glad your feeling so much better x

in reply toxshazx66

Holland and Barrett are good place to get the oil in drop form anyway, it don’t taste great thou!!

in reply to

Hi they now do them in capsules in Holland and Barrett I have got them they seem to work even better than the drops 😊xx

in reply to

That’s cool i didn’t realise they did capsules do you know how many you get in a pot? How many days supply? I find the oil lasts ages!!

in reply to

Hi you get 60 in the pot for £35 each capsule contains 8 to 10 drops in each I take one in the morning and one in the eve I have not required as much tramadol using these I have gone from 8 a day to 3 a day already hope that helps xx

in reply to

Thank u so much, I only usually take 2-3 drops of the oil once a day, I wonder if the capsules may be too high dose for me? Hmmmm

That’s great u have reduced the tramadol, I am on tramadol as part of my medication regime would be good to reduce one day!!

in reply to

I find reducing them has helped with the fatigue and I seem a lot calmer with capsules so am finding it a lot easier to pace with them which maybe why I have less pain but it's nice even for a short time to feel a little more normal eh xx

in reply to

I tried reducing tramadol before but my body screamed at me! So I was like errrr ok i will increase again then! I am happy the capsules help you definitely a benefit and I only hope they continue to work wonderz

in reply to

Yeah my body has always done the same when I have tried reducing tramadol too fingers crossed I have also been doing accupuncture and see a trainer once a week for half an hour to work on stretches and restrengthening my body I have a little light at this tunnel at the moment 😊

in reply to

Congratulations! Is that the right word?! I guess it is when free of pain just for a short time it’s an achievement for us! I was contemplating acupuncture I just need to find an evening place because I work during the day. How often do u do acupuncture?

Depends where you get your oil. Holland and Barrat tens to be low in cbd. It's really quite complicated working out strengths and doses. It's best I feel to get your cbd from cannabis buds grown specifically for cbd, not from hemp plants. The buds are of course more expensive but in my mind cheapness is a false economy.

Dee

Thankfully I can still work too however I did cut my hours down i try and do at least one session a week and depending what is hurting the most will determine what type he does I feel an instant relief with accupuncture I really hope it will help u too he has also worked out a good plan for me so it doesn't cost me a fortune xx

in reply to

you found it really helpful to cut down hours? I work full time. How long is each session you have acupuncture if you don’t mind me asking? I had looked into costs I just think actually sod the cost I will just pay and cut the money off somewhere else!

I have reduced my hours from 40 to 20 a week with the option of working from home thankfully my work are supportive and they have witnessed the drop in my health so I don't feel I have to justify to them which is a god send my sessions are usually about 40 mins I am very much the same about finding the money as I feel that once they diagnose you the gp writes you off and everything I have done for myself had been researched by me with no help from them apart from sending me to a pain psychologist after a 6 month wait lol x

It makes such a difference, when for however long, you can, or are able to see that there is some light at the end of the tunnel. It does give you a glimmer of hope. Long may it continue.

That's a miraculous change. It must be such a relief and joy to have energy and little or no pain. May the relief continue. I find cleaning therapeutic too. 😀

Hi..first time writing a reply as I normally just read. I don't know anyone else with Fibromyalgia so it is helps to know that I am not going crazy and other people are expecting the same things as me..anyway I wanted to say that I to take CBD oil for the past year and a half and although it hasn't cured me my life has improved dramatically. I would recommend that you get CBD from a company called CBD brothers. They publish the results of their product and is good quality. You can also call them to discuss what would be best for you. You can't overdose on CBD. Holland and Barrett products have quite a low dose for the money you pay. Totally up to you if your happy to stay with them but wanted to spread the word.

The best of luck and it will take you a while to find the suitable dose so don’t give up hugs Mar x

Hi pips04, I live in Australia. What is CBD?

I am really happy you are able to do all these things again. It must feel awesome. I would like to try CBD oil. Can you give me more details about the dosage or strength of the one you take. I did a search online and there are too many to pick from. I would rather start with something I know someone else has used and found helpful.

Hi the dose I take is 4 drops of CBD oil which I get from canabitol.com it costs £19.99 for a 250mg strength in a 15ml bottle. My friend in Ireland takes 4 drops under her tongue every morning and like me she’s cut back on her medication and feels great. It took a while to find the right one but after trying higher doses, different suppliers this is the one that suits us. I hope you do try it and that it makes a big difference to you and helps you. Anything else I can do just message me and the best of luck, mind yourself love 💖 Pips x

CBD oil is not legal in Australia so can't even buy it online from England.

Can you order it online and then get it in the mail ?

carmenp1 in reply toPips04

The online store won't deliver to Australia. Everywhere else it seemed but here. It probably won't make it thru customs.
