I can't stand my hair loose anymore....it feels like little needles stabbing me! The same goes for any tags or labels on the collar of my clothes. Is this to do with my Fibro? Does anyone else experience the same thing? XX

Not like that but sometimes amitryptiline can help
Can't stand any labels in my clothes and have to be careful about lace. My hair seems to tickle me all the time so tend to have it up rather than down and can't stand any clingy clothes and prefer natural fabrics.x
I cut all of my labels off as soon I buy clothes and for them home .. I have even gone to the extreme of getting boxer pants so that the join in the pants don't irritate me ... I also lose lots of hair all the time but I have thick thick hair and it isn't showing too badly ... but if I get hair falling on my skin it hurts so bad .. like you say is if I'm being stabbed with little needles ...i also hate fluff .. the tiniest bit makes me itch so much ...
I don't know if it a fibro thing but these things irritate me xx
Hi, I can't stand tags labels and socks. My hair is shoulder length but keep it up most days. I feel it has to do with fibro😣. Chris x
This is a relatively new thing for me as well, have to cut out labels and can’t wear anything tight. What would we do without leggings?
Hi Sue, I have the same and its really upsetting, I have lost two thirds of my hair, its been falling out for 3-4 years significantly and there is a prickly feeling, it looks totally different too, I used to have fine but abundant beautiful very curly hair that went into ringlets now I've got a thin layer of straightish frizzy mess on my head and I look like a scare crow with alopecia, I just want to cry, because I've lost a massive amount of hair, when I wake up,there's big flat patches too.
Do you have any scalp problem? I have also had a scalp problem for at least 24 years and it now been suggested that it is psoriasis so I'm unsure if the hair loss is because of the fibromyalgia, psoriasis or medications.
I have terrible problems with any labels in ANY of my clothes, as well as seems that are more prominent, I have been told it's a sensory issue due to my Asperger Syndrome, which is on the autistic spectrum and apparently its common to have sensory processing issues. I have extra sensitive skin, I can't stand certain materials too especially sheep's wool and mohair, and have always cut all my labels out of clothing, just try and do the same maybe?
Head and Shoulders do a new tube of shampoo with Selenium in and advertised as scalp relief, I've been trying this for the scalp sensation and it does seem to help a little.
Hope it gets better for you x
Wow! Now you mention it....my hair has been giving me problems for months now. It's mainly grey now but every time I wash it, it seems to go greasy and horrible after 1-2 days! It never used to be like this....And I daren't use conditioner....that's a whole different story!!!! X
Hi I think it is I have to cut labels of everything and got a short hair cut my skin is so sensitive as soon as I'm indoors I put on pjs so I'm comfortable.
