I had my flu jab two days ago and apart from a sore arm,I am pleased and feel safe for another year. This is the sixth one and I have never had a cold or flu in all that time.

Make sure that you have one it's a lifesaver.😊😊😊

I agree but there are so many millions of strains of the cold virus they can protect us from all but for us all it does help.

Mind you saying that.. I always suffer after and suffering now last thing I want is a reaction on top

Healing hugs x

well done hun- this years epidemic is said to be a bad one- I know people often say they feeel ill after the jab, I say a few days unwell is better than the real maccoy.

The flu jab is not a live vackzeen so why do peeps feel I'll after? Iv been having them fr years an never felt bad after' touch wood' I had mine last WK an I did have a sore arm fr a few days but that's all,so can't complain,OK it doesn't cover every strain but better to be protected from some. As none of us need any more health problems☺

There have been four more flu strains added this year.

Including the one that has knocked out the Australians this year,

According to my practise nurse.x

I had mine about 2 weeks ago - I agree they are life savers as I have a low/ suppressed immunity do to my R.A weekly injections .

I always agree it is better to have it even though some like me do suffer afterwards... than to not!

Always better to be safe than sorry... just some of us are more sensitive than others that's why we react... this is with all things in life.
