Yes I sure do, think I have got most of Blackpool beach under there at times, hope you managed to get a little sleep xx

I read a lot about people and sore eyes. Have you been to see your GP, for eye drops. I hope you managed some sleep 😴

I have impetigo on my ears, mouth and eyes when I get stressed and this can make my eyes feel really sore and painful to touch - don't know if that helps xxx

I was diagnosed with Blepharitis years ago. I was told it was related to the rosecea on my face.

Optometrist referred to hospital about 3 years ago as he noticed problems and I was eventually diagnosed with 4 eye anomalies, none of them serious. Causes Unknown.

One is dry eye syndrome and I get Hylo Forte eye drops on prescription. Don't have to be kept in fridge, last for several months.

I found L'Oreal micellar gel ( eye makeup remover) is brilliant for keep the eyes clean and is very cool and soothing. Much cheaper than the ones designed for Blepharitis, too. (£3 compared to £10)

You might find a warm to hot ( not too hot) compress on your closed eyes will help too.

I too have this problem I relate it to Sjorgrens syndrome, my nose is dry and raw tissue inside, my ears have no wax and so they itch all the time, my mouth-I chew soft gum or use a spray with oils base to keep moist- not everything is fibro. I have a gel callled DOUBLEBASE ( NOT DIPROSONE OR DIPROBASE ) You can put doublebase anywhere safely. Someone mentioned the other day about Lid Scrubs- baby shampoo in warm water and gentle strokes across each closed eye, good for removing make up too, ladies!!

I too have been using Doublebase, as I have [inherited] dry skin. I've sprinkled lavender concentrated oil in it because it has a vague chemical background smell (hardly noticeable, but I have a keen sense of smell). I've been using it for years and it brings relief to my dry and cracking-up hands. good luck!

I find my eyes are often really dry and sometimes they feel gritty too... I have Gel tears from the Dr for it. :)

Good advise Hidden eyes are prescious and many eye ailments can be caused just by elements outside or like me some years back I had a "dirty person" for the want of a better word- sneezed across at me and I had some of his saliva in my eye-yes I had to be treated for an Adenovirus which ran into the other eye-quite a nasty ordeal, Seriously go gp with any eye problems at all.

Hi Fibro10 - You might want to have your doc check you for Sjogrens Syndrome. I have it as well as the RA and Fibro, and it makes your eyes gritty and sore. The problem with not getting it identified is that it can cause scratches in your cornea which can lead to blindness. Please get to the doc as soon as you can... Meantime, use a lot of drops like Refresh or Systane...

Yeah! it never occurred to me that it could be caused by Lupus - I've made my eyes sore ytrying to get an [imaginary] stray eyelash out. I've bought some dry eyes drops from Boots but haven't tried them yet - I'll let you know . . . . . .

Get it checked out it could be dry eyes or it could be sjorgens syndrome like I have ,have you got dry mouth too .I also have blepharitus and that gets so sore on eye rims .If it's dry eye you can buy over counter remedies .xx

Yes I do. I've found hypromellose eye drops help a lot, I use them morning and evening.

Yes, I have very dry eyes and a dry mouth. My optician has advised me to use eye drops five times per day. He recommends HycoSan drops. Before I used this treatment my right eye used to swell up and hurt.

Yes as part of the syndrome I have Sjörgens which means dry eyes, mouth etc. Hypromellose eye drops 3/4 times a day and viscotears gel at night keeps it at bay. Forgot to add - warm compresses help as it encourages production of oily tears - yes we have them!
