Finger twitching.

Hi. I was just wondering if anyone else had this? The times I have to go back on a text or an email because my finger twitches uncontrollably. It deletes words or moves a word, or put in extra letters. It happens when I try to use a whatchacAllt to turn the TV on and off.

I mean to press it once but it goes on and off as long as my finger twitches. It's a nightmare!

Hi nanatre sorry to here this my friend it can really affect you in that you give up typing and have to go back to it.

I can see how it can be very frustrating.

Hope it eases my friend.

I get pins and needles in my hands. No twitching though. Get a twitch on my left eye if I forget magnesium.

Yep, happens to me. What with twitchy fingers and spell check interfering my texts/emails etc can be very funny but not what I intend. My sister is very good at working out what I mean!

Hi nanatre

I am so truly sorry to read this my friend and this could be one of those conditions that appears to walk along side Fibro, and is called ''Dystonia.'' Dystonia is a medical term for a range of movement disorders that cause muscle spasms and contractions.

I have pasted you a link below to the NHS Choices cache on Dystonia:

I want to sincerely wish you all the best of luck and please take care of yourself my friend.

All my hopes and dreams for you

Ken

Yeah I get this, had to switch off one click ordering on amazon because of it, few things I wanted, but wasn't buying just yet, was trying to add to basket but pressed one click ordering when twitching. Think sometimes it can be the way we hold our phones etc that can exacerbate it. If my arm leans on a table a certain way, my hand shakes terribly, maybe try putting on a flat surface and using that way, takes longer and annoying, but could help

Sometimes it can be happy accident, but still annoying, definitely try doing it not holding the phone or tablet, I find my hands and fingers twitch less then!!
