Why won't my legs move
Any sort of leg pain and injury would be very big risk to driving. I would honestly go to a and e get professional view good luck
Hi Michelemike
I am sorry to hear that you are suffering with your leg.
Have you seen your GP about it? It could be that he/she would be able to do some tests.
It could be that it is just another one of Fibro's little "joys" but I do think that you should get it checked out.
If you feel that it is affecting your driving then it would be dangerous to continue, but I think you should at least get it investigated first.
Wishing you a peaceful day.

HiMichelemike, I sometimes get leg locking, my brain isn't telling my legs what to do! I wonder if you have any therapies for your condition (assuming its fibro related) this might help to pump the muscle power better, I go to hydro weekly (which I pay a fiver for) and at week end I sit in the local Jacuzzi whilst my daughter swims, I find both times immersed in very warm water wonderful, I then find I can exercise more easily on dry land, fibro can seize up if we sit for a long time (and I bet you do driving trucks) I assume you stop for breaks? maybe learn some stretching excercises to keep you going.
Hello and a warm welcome to our friendlt fibro forum where you can get help, advice, support and understanding.
Out mother site fmauk.org has a wealth of information about fibro including guides and links.
Have you a diagnosis of fibro or being tested for it?
I suggest you see your doctor about this symptom, it certainly does not seem normal. If you drive your truck and have an accident, you may kill or injure yourself and/or others. In this instance your insurance may not pay out. It really is not worth the risk.
Please take care and look after yourself

Hi Michelemike
I sincerely hope that you are feeling as well as you possibly can be today? Welcome to the forum and it is wonderful to make your acquaintance.
I am so genuinely sorry to read about what is happening to your legs, and I would personally be apprehensive about driving like that? It could be Fibro related or it could be something else. To get them workign properly again you may need some physiotherapy my friend?
I want to sincerely wish you all the best of luck and please take care of yourself my friend.
All my hopes and dreams for you
Ken
Hi Michelemike welcome to our wonderful forum ☺ I'm sure you will come to find the forum invaluable in chatting to others who are going through the same experience as you, talking to others at different stages of their lives with Fibro and learning from their experiences.
You dont say you have got fibromyalgia or being tested for other conditions, so it's a bit difficult to give you advice and we are not doctors.
If you the a&e doctors think it's your medication. I'm presuming they would have some knowledge of the specific medication you take & if it's likely to have these side effects. If I were you, like already suggested & get some professional advice from your own gp but in my opinion I would say, don't drive till you ask your gp because it may be possible to travel to your foot & you would certainly be In a predicament if your foot went numb.
I hope you sort it out soon & look forward to chatting with you on the forum.
Peace, luv n light
