About 2 weeks ago I started getting an increased heart rate then suddenly my arms and legs became extremely weak they then were numb. My mouth also went numb and I had trouble talking and then I got involuntary shoulder jerks on my left shoulder. It's been about 2 weeks now and the numbness is still there but has improved a lot but now the muscles feel like they are in pain and they're extreamly weak and if I use them too much they feel like lifeless limbs and are in so much pain. The pain In them is like deep inside of them it feels like. When I'm laying down the muscles feel like their asleep but tingling at the same time I'm not really sure how to describe it it's extremely uncomfortable. I don't know what's going on I've seen a doctor and all the blood tests came back normal does anyone have any ideas of what could be going on, this has never happened before and it came on so suddenly and it is honestly the most annoying and uncomfortable thing I could imagine please help

Hello Dizzy two nice to see some of the long term members are still here I do get a lot of numbness with Fibromygia and RLS there's a lot of tingling but I think if numbness comes on all of a sudden best to do as you say
This doesn't sound right to me. Please do go back to your doctor on an emergency appointment tomorrow, hopefully it will be a different doctor who will take this more seriously.
Whatever you do, don't ignore it.
Kay
A common symton with Fibromygia is numbness and weakness of the muscles plus a tingling around the face my doctor advised me of this years ago
Hi silver22w
Firstly, welcome to the forum and it is wonderful to make your acquaintance. This could be Fibro related but personally I would get it checked out by a doctor as soon as you can my friend just to have other medical issues ruled out of the equation. I want to sincerely wish you all the best of luck and please take care of yourself.
I have pasted you a link to our mother site below, FMA UK
All my hopes and dreams for you

Hi there silver 22w
Just a little message. I had also the same thing happen about 4 years ago. It's not at all nice and scary too. I have neuro tests and things done as they where worried. I have a few things wrong anyway but I just wanted to say ur not alone. As we arnt qualified to say I think it's best you get. He led again but I just wanted to reassure you mine is due to other conditions with also the m.e and fibromyalgia. But please let us know how you get on. Gentle hugs x
Did you get a copy of your blood test results? If so, did they test your B12, ferritin, folate and VitD levels? When my B12 was low the pains I got were awful. I also had numbness and tingling and muscle weakness.
Hi Silver, do you suffer from migraines at all ? My go thought I had a stroke but mri scan and other tests showed it to be a hemiplegic migraine. The symptoms same as you describe. The deep pain inside felt like a burning sensation to me. I also had numbness and weakness all on left side of body. Despite it being called a hemiplegic migraine I did not get the severe head pain I usually get with a migraine. It was very odd and quite a few doctors that I saw before diagnosis were sure it was a stroke. Good luck hope you get to the bottom of this
