Well , arrived in Dorset Thursday after a horrible journey down (for me ) felt so ill thought I had a UTI but come Friday I'm really ill with nasty Kidney and ITI infection went to hospital they gave me strong antibiotic which gave me hallucinations .
Back sat for different one and have spent last four days on sofa feeling rough and alone as everyone quite rightly went off to various activities . My lovely hub has been with me some of the time but I insisted he go and enjoy , waste of money and he needs a break .Weather is beautiful .Still feeling very poorly xx
I hope all my friends are not suffering on fibro site but I know some of you will be sending love and a hugs to you all xx

Having a little trip out just 3 miles first time out sickness had stopped still have achy back and tummy but I don't care I'm going out . The rest of us have gone to Lyme today. Hope your feeling better xx
What a shame, hope you start to feel a lot better very soon.
Dorset is lovely and has some great scenery. Perhaps you can sit in the car and admire the views, it's what hubby does for me and it gets you out without too much effort.
Hope I can soon my kidneys are hurting too much at mo to be jostling about and I feel really unwell but another day might help . It's a pretty county I agree . Xx
Such a shame it is amazing how many people aren't well on holiday. I sometimes think with fibro it is the stress of having to get things ready forming and then the travelling. Do hope the antibiotics kick in and that you can get a bit if enjoyment.x
Thanks sweetie we have one day left and then home 🏡 and I have to say I can't wait to get home .Had a little trip out and the villages are just beautiful x
So glad you did manage to get out a bit. Not that I have had a holiday in 6 years but I think the journey would see me off, lol. Take care rest up when you get home.x
Thanks sweetheart I will be taking it easy when I get up . On the journey back we have to take daughter and kids home which will mean an extra hour on our journey and I'm not looking forward to it . I tell you what we going away to spain for 4 for four weeks and I'm getting antibiotics before I go xx
Hi, sorry to hear that you are not very well. I totally sympathise with you as I've had 2 bladder and kidney infections in the last 3 months and know how painfull it is. I hope you have a speedy recovery and get to enjoy the lovely Dorset scenery.
I was in a lot of pain and not able to pass urine properly. This was a couple of days before the new year. I manage to see a doctor who refused to give me anything. The next morning I put in another urine sample as I could hardly walk. Again I was told I couldn't have anything! By the evening I was on my hands and knees in tears and the pressure in my bladder was so bad I thought I was in labour again due to the pain and feeling. I called the NHS help line and they gave me an appointment at gone midnight. I was examined and tested and was told I had a servere bladder and kidney infection and was given strong antibiotics. I was supposed to have a check over the week after but was refused an appointment. I no longer trust my surgery so I bought some online testing kits to do it myself. 4 weeks ago I started getting the same symptoms and tested myself, it showed another bad infection again. I phoned the surgery for a call back, read out the results and I was left a prescription at the desk. I did say do you not want to see the test strip to confirm the infection but the doctor wasn't interested. 2 days after finishing the antibiotics I tested myself again and it was back to normal. I know when I was pregnant I was constantly sick and they kept saying bad morning sickness even though it was all day and night! It was only when I came out in bruises all up my arms they took notice, tested me properly then said I was on the verge of kidney failure! I was given 2 days for 2 different lots of antibiotics to start working or straight into hospital! I know UTI's can do strange things too, I always knew when my Nan had one and the lady I was a carer for as they would start doing strange things and muttering. I hope this isn't the start of something that's going to be reoccurring as I know it can be another symptom of fibromyalgia.
I really hope that you feel better soon, so sorry that it has happened on your holiday.
You will never guess what , when I got the meds it had no slip of paper in it . So I looked it up tonight and the med she gave me does not treat a kidney infection , my stomach is crazy hurting , I'm going to wait until dosage ends and see if it works . Hope you ok Ken and how is Julie doing ? Xx😇
Well Ken I have spent most of today in two different hospitals .The tablets I got last Saturday didn't work and I have steadily get worse and feeling very unwell .New tabs for 14 days this time ,I'm hoping they are going to work .xx😇
Hi Matrix my friend, I am so truly sorry to read this and it is awful. I sincerely want to wish you a speedy recovery, and please take care of yourself x

Hey Patrick ,not feeling great still and we back on Thursday , as you say all that work for nothing but they did enjoy it so that's something.Hope you slept ok and thankful for your kind words .xx x
It wasn't for nothing at all! Lots of full happy tummys! I hope you have a doggy bag for me with some of your yummy sounding Pavlova! I got four hours sleep last night and eyes fading so hope to get same tonight. That's just the right amount for me. Just caught myself snoring! My wife says I do it all the time with the ipad or a book, she wakes me to put it down and apparently I deny it and say I was just resting my eyes 😂😂😂
Hope your taking it easy and enjoying yourself and sleeping too!
Yes well Patrick I have your twin living with me . I have to put four ear plugs to block his snoring . As I say to him he is lucky he is married to me , having fibro I am hardly in bed so he can snore on in peace . We are home now and I have been sleeping most of the afternoon so tired . We were blessed by the weather so lovely .
I managed a couple of trips to the sea it was only 3 miles and being by the sea is so uplifting and makes me feel good . Regarding the pavlova ,people said they didn't think they would be able to eat it and I promise you they were like bees on a honey pot . It was wonderful lots of mallow , sorry none left but I will get the pigeon out the very next time I make one .Hope your coping my friend xxx😇
None left! Whada ya mean ' none left' and then with great cruelty to go and desribe that it was so good that they were like bees at a honey pot! That's adding insult to injury! I've got your number! You temptress! Lol😂
Hope you thoroughly enjoyed your break and don't have to much pay back for the extra effort. I think it important to do these things to remind udvwe still have comtol in our lives and something to look forward too. We're going down to Glastonbury for the May Bank Holiday to see a Dragon Parade and Pagan festivities. I'm looking to get a Tattoo done a small ferocious green eyed one to remind me of my beast I mean beloved! Green eyed partner! Lol
miles trip it twice but rest of time was laying on sofa with hot water bottle , it was not a great trip in that respect but enjoyed looking at the tree s etc . Right I'm off to bed xx
Three miles is an awesome amount to cover if you don't g out much. Hope the payback isn't too much. Though with t he sunshine and fresh air and a bit of nature it's soothing for the soul and a tension reliever 😊😊😊
I didn't walk it are you seriousI would be on my knees .I went in car 🚗 with beloved .I want to live by the sea it's such a soul blessing and it lifted my spirits .I was exhausted yesterday ,what should have been a two hour journey became three there and three back because our middlechild is scared of driving on her own with kids so I had to sit in with her .How are you today ? .xx
I was wondering, three miles, that's a long walk! Lol😂 I love the sea, something so comforting about it, even in storms. If my OH was down I would get her in the car and down to Southsea/Portsmouth our nearest bit, walk throw sones and generally feel the sea air. That then stopping at a great chipper and an old fashioned sweetie shop was better than any medicine!
Patrick I am with you on being by the sea ,it seems to energise me and as you say even in winter it's wonderful .How you feeling today ? .i have spent most of today in two hospitals gettingmore meds for my kidney infection .Still feeling rough .xx😇
