I'm so fed up feeling terrible,I have now brought a tall chair into my kitchen so I can sit while making a tea, this time last year I could do more so I'm definitely getting worse with fibromyalgia what's everyone's experience like, are you getting worse?.I can't go out or on holiday or any normal stuff and am very lonely.

Hello Joemac....No need to be lonely any more as we are a friendly group of people and I think you will come to see how much positive info you will get from this forum. I do personally feel that my fibro has deteriorated (I have had Fibro for 30years plus other medical conditions) I was very ill 14 months ago with Sepsis and I know this has had a great bearing on my health but it sure hasn't helped fibro. Come and chat to us again....no need to be lonely...Gentle Hug xx

Hallo Topbananamac . Sorry you're feeling so bad and lonely too - a horrible mixture.

To answer your question: my experience has been that fibro gradually gets worse, but there are others on this forum, possibly not so old as I am, who have had better experiences and found ways to cope that did not work for me but might for you.

You would probably get quite a few responses if you locked your post - instructions to the right in blue. This prevents anyone other than the peeps on this forum from accessing your post. You really don't want your private information spread all over the internet :D

I hope your day gets better and more pain free. Gentle hugs.

Hi Topbananamac

I am sorry you are haing a bad time of it lately.

It is not a definite that you will deteriorate, although I have not heard of many who feel better than they did five years ago, some people do stabilise.

You are amongst friends here so that will go towards easing your loneliness.

Have a look at your local council groups, facilities and amenities. My local library offers a transport service run by volunteers one afternoon a week. They pick up people, offer a cup of tea whilst talking about and choosing books and return a couple of hours later.

There may be a social group in your area too.

Hope this helps.

X
