Nother 6weeks sick note been off since June will I ever get bk to work course feeling worse know then did at beginning in June

Hi

I can understand how all of this is getting you down. Are you worried you may never feel well enough to go back to work? Are you getting pressure from your boss to return?

What does your doctor say about work, I know he has just given you another six weeks, but does he give any indication of when or even if you will be fit enough to do your job?

I don't know what medication you are on, but perhaps it is time to try something different if it is not working and may be ask for a referral to the Pain Clinic.

This time of year makes most people very low, so you are not alone in feeling that way.

Boss is presurring me to go back doctor not really said apart from until he gets second appinu which is Tuesday so hoping for more answers as gp not happy with what's being said I've got swelling to bottom of my spine lumps on my shoulders swollen legs and feet which my right leg won't straighten migraines and tired all time my meds are zapain diclofenac diazepan nefopam Gabapentin. X

Hi Jayney7....You do sound fed up and anxious...not sure what your work involves but maybe you GP realises it would not be a good thing to return yet. Have you been referred to Pain Management as this may help in coping with work? If not do ask for a referral...I assume you are on meds for Fibro but maybe if your GP tweaked them a little it may help..xx

Am a career go to there homes which is lot of heavy work and walking involved am on zapain diclofenac diazepan nefopam Gabapentin. For pain but not doing much waitibg on appointment for pain management and working with pyso to try and get me more mobile as have to use crunchers xx
