Feeling dizzy
Get them all the time. Were you doing anything in particular? Mine happen if I stand still for a minute or more or look /bend down, or even when I'm hungry . Some meds also have this as a side effect.
I was just trying on some clothes. I have had a busy weekend and long day today so could be due to being over tired. Did wonder if it was my ear again but I've already been to DRs on Friday as I woke up in pain! She said it wasn't infected but full of wax! So I have no idea why it happened. Going to try and get some sleep now as got busy day tomorrow as well. Hope you all have a decent night sleep.
Forgot to say I do have vertigo and on meds for 2 years. Mum said about getting them reviewed as they haven't been reviewed once!
Hi Em08 I'm afraid some meds given for Fibro can cause this side effect but it can also be a sign of blood pressure not being right, so it's worth mentioning to your GP. I went through a period last year when my blood pressure was a bit low & i kept getting dizzy. It's ok now & no explanation why it happened and hasn't happened again.
Luv Jan x
Hi thanks yeah mum mentioned low blood pressure as a possibility as well. Thanks
I have vertigo. It comes and goes in waves. I have seen ENT a couple of times about this and was advised that it was calcium deposits in inner ear, Labrynthiitis and I have hearing loss in right ear. Do you have tinnitus?
Hi my friend
I am so genuinely sorry to read this and I sincerely hope that you feel better now? I can see that you have had some really good suggestions about what could have caused it. I want to sincerely wish you all the best of luck, and please take care of yourself.
All my hopes and dreams for you
Ken
Hi emo I get this a lot. Thought it was Blood pressure at one point, well it was once. But the rest of time wasn't. My GP said can be stress as well + meds. Best to get it checked out. Scary at first. Hope you find the cause. Take care. X
Hi all thank you for your lovely comments. I slept well apart from waking up needing the loo once. I only felt a bit dizzy then that was around 3am.
When I wroke up when my alarm went off I did feel dizzy but took my tablets because I do feel funny until I've taken them anyway. I thought I was ok ish. Had breakfast etc then I had another dizzy spell! Not as bad as last night but it was horrible!
Decided to ring the DRs in the end managed to get a phone call appt. After explaining all the possible outcomes and she ask me questions etc. She said I've got like a mild viral infection. She's also going to change my meds for my dizziness as I told her my tablets haven't been reviewed for 2 years! She told me to come in the new year to have this reviewed but for now if I want to try these tablets (i can't remember what they're called). Sorry for long message. At least I'm hoping to get it sorted now.
I suffer with bad dizzy spells and the need to lie on the ground which makes everything seem as they are standing still, look it up on NHS.com I have a disease called Ménière's disease. Do the home work if ur still stuck get back to me, or go to ur doctors and tell her u think u have this, she will sent u to ENT clinic to have tests done on ur ears also on ur balance, don't be scared, also good idea to keep a diary good luck 🌺🌷🌹🌸
