Feeling dizzy
Hi Em08
I think the most important thing is to stay safe. So do not try moving around and sit / lay still until it passes. If it does not stop then you may have to ring the emergency services to get some help my friend. Please take care of yourself.
All my hopes and dreams for you
Ken
Hi thanks for your reply I just rang Nhs 111 and they told me to speak to GP and try not to move out of bed until the morning. I don't know if I'll get a call from one of their gps but I've left my phone on in case
hi there h have the same thing I tried taking a magnesium supplement and its toned it down a lot to when I turn round. been dizzy for ages and it seems to work
good luck and lay down a lot
Em08 , I hope it stops and you feel better Take carehun!! Take care. Peck.🐤
It could be a case of vertigo? I had it before and it makes the room spin and you feel very disorientated and unsteady on your feet. GP is a good call to see if it is that or another issue.
I hope it passes soon.
I had exactly that yesterday. Rang the GP got a prescription and feel a lot less nauseous now, although still a little dizzy.
Avonmine helps a lot with dizziness...and it's over the counter. It also helps with nausea and sickness which is common with dizziness x
See your GP as well. Take care xx
Hi Em08 . I get this, try and lay still if you can, mine can last days but I hope yours passes soon. Take care and be cautious Hun xx
Hi, just to add that it would be good to see your gp....and that in the meantime often ginger might help...tea, crystalised ginger or even gingernuts. And for me the anti sea sickness wristbands were very helpful. If diagnosed with labyrinthitis then you may be prescribed anti emetics for short term use....though I prefer to use non pharmacological treatment...brandt daroff exercises may be useful.
Good luck !
Morning Em08 I've had this the past it was to do with me having cervicalspondylosis - doc gave me Serc tabs which helped greatly - it could even be an ear infection. Hope you get it sorted soon. Sending hugsnkisses 😘😘😘🤗🤗🤗
Hi all thanks for your replies. I did manage to go back to sleep thank goodness. I put myself another pillow which seemed to help. I just rang GP requesting a home visit. Waiting for GP to ring now. Xxx
Just spoken to GP he wants me to go in even though I said it will be difficult but he wants to do urgent tests as I've had the dizziness for a few weeks now.
Morning, I get this when my blood pressure is low so would call your gp and get checked, hope you start feeling better xx
Look up "BPPV" guys - that might help
Forgot to mention don't take Codeine as it causes vertigo can last days
I get this and GP prescribes stemetil and Betahistine. Had MRI on brain a few years back to check it wasn't anything nasty. Some days I feel like I am walking on rubber and feel nauseous. Not nice.
Can't B12 deficiency cause dizziness? Although you might have a lot more of the symptoms. There is a website B12D.org that could help you decide.
I was told the reason cfs/fibromyalgia can be treated with B12 injections was the theory that we have low cerebral levels.
I do feel dizzy and queasy (not as bad as you) I try to remember to take crystallized ginger.
Hi I suffer from this a lot and mine is virtigo. I take buccastem. I can't take codine either. Good luck xx
If bppv then my recommendation would be the brandt daroff exercises and wristbands as mentioned previously. I've had that several times in the past and making sure I spend the time doing those 5times a day staved off worse attacks. Good luck
Seen GP She said it's vertigo flare up and hasn't helped with cold. Has given me new tablets to try again. Given me enough for a week instead of the other ones. She did all tests to see if my reflexes are fine. Blood pressure is normal too. She said I've also got a slight ear infection in my right ear
You might be coming down with something, there is all sorts going around. Dizziness is awful I suffer with it it's to do with sinusitis. please go to the docs get him to check your blood pressure also ask for your vitamin d3 checking dizziness can be a sign you are lacking. Remember keep calm it will pass. Breath in through your nose and out through your mouth big deep breaths. Xxx
