Hi fibro10

I am so sorry to read how poorly you are feeling and I sincerely hope that you start to feel better soon. It really doesn't help when we cannot sleep? It is also difficult to tell at times if it is a Fibro flare or a very nasty virus? Or both? I just want to wish you well.

All my hopes and dreams for you

Hi hun

I suffered something terrible from similar symptoms although I had nausea too all of which I had for a great many months.

A health worker suggested me asking

my doctor to prescribe me some vertigo tablets of which appear to be helping me.

Might be worth asking your doctor about them too.

Best wishes Hel.x

Thank you all for your replys . been up to make a coffee but still the same feels like im drunk with out the drink hopeing it will clear soon 😩xx

Just clicked the wrong button and lost my reply, try again.

My fibro came on slowly over many years and one of the first symptoms i had was drunk without the drink. I have it now and typing is very difficult.

I get it regulary and for me it passes after a day or two.

It is not a nice sensation and i hope that it soon clears for you.

If you are worried for any reason, get a temperature or it lasts more that a few days see your doctor.

lots of hugs sue

Sounds just like I have now with fibro. Whatever it is I hope you begin to feel better if only a little bit but fingers crossed a lot more. Not nice to feel like that.

Hi Fibro 10,

Don't know what meds you're on but it might be worth checking with your GP as it sounds like you could benefit from something that would aid sleep.

The feeling you describe is not new to most Fibro sufferers but from what I can ascertain, it's normally linked to lack of restorative sleep. Many Fibro's are put on meds like Amitriptyline which alongside managing pain, aids sleep as well.

Wishing you all the best.

I hope you get a good eight to ten hours very soon.

Hi dizzy head,

sorry you are suffering these symptoms, they are unpleasant, i don't know if you have a thyroid problem or not, but the nerve end racing feeling is a symptom of that, when i get that feeling i get my thyroid bloods repeated, on one occasion i was going from under active to over active, was just a medication adjustment that was needed. a blood test will put your mind at ease, rather than being in pain worrying about symptoms your experiencing, hope this is helpful to you, take care, love & hugs to you you xxx

Hi there, I think you should possibly have a word with your GP just incase it is something like vertigo or labarynthitis , but as the others have said so many things come along with the delightful fibro, but I always think better safe than sorry.

Sending lots of positive healing vibes your way :-)

Foggy x

Me to, what a lovely family to become part of. I tried to get a dr appointment and got a phone consultation instead, I just had a load of blood work done and my vit D is low. I wanted to explain that I have 2 dogs and with my mobile scooter I get out every day for at least an hour. But I missed the call and got left a message saying, take bit D tablets for the rest of my life or get out more. So fed up, I was offered a appointment with a different doctor but that one keeps a timer with him and at five minutes says, your time is up and hangs up. I hope you have better doctors than me. Some do care and are helpful. Gentle hugs x

Hi I have all the same symptoms as you have described, and I also suffer from Fibromyalgia. My skin can feel as if it has outrageous sunburn. I find when I am like this that the answer is to shut myself away and try to keep everything such as noise and light down to a minimum, and this helps the episode to ease more quickly.

Snap! It's a virus, I've got told that today, it leaves you feeling awful but should take 5 days approximately to shift, you know what the doctor's say? Plenty of fluids and rest, boring advice that is not work listening to! Good luck hope you get better soon!
