Hi everyone. Im Paula I live alone with 2 cats so not really alone. Have 2 grown up sons and 5 grandsons. I had to stop work in 2013 due to my health. I have cervical spine problems. And on 6th December I was told by a specialist I have fibromyalgia.
The specailist was great. I had a top to tea examination and he said from my feet to my neck and my muscels are knacked so to speak. I already go to pain clinic but know I have to have nerve induction( not looking forward to it) a pyhsio and occupational therapist. Also have CBT therapy.
My depression as hit rock bottom. Im sick of feeling this way. But I have to learn to live with it.
I sincerely hope that you are feeling as well as you possibly can be today? Welcome to the forum and it is wonderful to make your acquaintance. I have pasted you a link below to our mother site, FMA UK which hosts loads of useful Fibro information:
I am so genuinely sorry to read that you are suffering and struggling and I want to sincerely wish you all the best of luck my friend, and please take care of yourself.
Morning Paula welcome to the Fibro friends forum - you have joined a very friendly and helpful forum - you can rant and rave whenever you feel like no swearing though 😂 and the support will be there as everyone is going through this at some level - myself I count me lucky as I don't have Fibro as bad as some peeps have but you know they still put funnies and anecdotes up. The admin team have lots of good info and will steer you to the right places as Ken has done earlier.
Hope you embrace the forum as welcome arms are out there waiting for you. Take care 🤗🤗🤗🤗😘😘🎅🏻
Hi sweet. Thank you for the nice welcome ☺ I wont swear promise. Its all new still and I will admit it hard to get my head around it at times.
