Oh isn,t it so annoying! Our bloods are either up or down bordlerline doesn,t change the pain we are in.. I had a B12 injection on Monday and I have to say my fatigue has subsided since. My g.p told me that the over the counter B vits are quite weak and don't really help much, the injections are higher dose vits and so I will have her do them and save my money!

Its a nightmare, GP said my low vitamin b12 is diet related, so I'm doing my best to eat high foods in b12....started vitamin d meds on Wednesday. .I'll just see how I go...x

yes mine was low and diet orientated but I am under gastro doc for poor digestion due to a massive hiatus hernia in my oesophagus, if your g.p offers you a jab take it coz its free no prescription and the nurse usually gives it, but dont buy any they are a rip off cox shops cannot sell the strength a doctor can give.

I'm trying to eat better, since April I have lost my appetite... & I only eat little bits...so just making sure I have plenty of fish, cheese & milk...its such a battle & because of fatigue & pain, sometimes I can't be bothered...xx

A borderline test is so frustrating. Sometimes you just want them to make a definite decision.

My normally excellent doc refused to give me iron supplements as for over a year my blood was on the lowest number but didn't go beneath it., even though I had no energy and got out of breath. He just said that having that very low, but just in range level, it was obvious that it was my normal level!

It took a clinic appointment with a gastro- enterologist who insisted my GP prescribe them, which he did but wasn't very happy to do so.

I think these ranges should be considered a guide and not absolutely one or the other, particularly in some countries where their ranges are different.

Thanks Kay, I know sometimes our GP is so slow...& because of Fibromyalgia they put it down to that....however I have felt more shattered got more pain . .so this could be because of the low vitamins....see how I go...x

I also have low levels of vitamins B12 & Vitamin D. Suggest you take supplement Vitamin D3 & vitamin B 12 the type that dissolve under your tongue. Will make a world of difference. Well, at it did for me. Help me ease my bone & muscle pain. Good luck..
