After being diagnosed with diagnosed with the following: SLE Lupus

Hepatitis B core antibody, Inflammatory, Connective Tissue Disease and Mytosis I have now been told that I can add Fibromyalgia to the list.

Hi there

Welcome to the forum :)

If you take a look at our mother site you will find a wealth of information on Fibromyalgia fmauk.org

Describing Fibromyalgia is difficult as everyone suffers to varying degrees.

Basically it is muscle pain all over the body, fatigue and lack of restorative sleep.

Unfortunately there is no cure, as yet, for it. However, with the help of a decent GP it can be manageable.

There are a variety of other illnesses that like to join the Fibro party, some of which are depression, IBS, migraines, and Fibro fog .

Getting the right set of meds is very much trial and error so you will need to be patient on that score.

If there is anything specific you would like to ask please feel free to do so.

A very warm welcome :) I very much hope you enjoy being part of our Fibro family :)

Wishing you less pain and more peace

Sorry I am having a particularly thick day! :)

Do you mean everything makes sense now? A bit like you've been searching for a missing piece of a puzzle that you didn't even know you were looking for, and now you've found it?
