Im new

[boosma]

This is my first time on here. I was recently diagnosed with Fibromyalgia but looking back I can see I have had this for a much longer time. Im not having a great day mood is rock bottom everything is just so hard.

Hello Boosma,

Welcome, and I hope you enjoy this site, it's brilliant, eveybody understands you here, you don't have to explain yourself too much either you are so easily understood.

Hope your pain is not too bad, believe me it will ease a bit just talking here, don't ask me why!

I love dogs too and cats how many dogs do you have, your dog in the photo is so sweet, just thinking I should start taking more pics of my animals, it would give me something to do. I was amazed one day when I was shopping at Iceland and the girl behind the counter was getting used to my common (by now) confusion and ditthereness, and told me I should get a hobby (nicely with a smile) well if anyone else said it I might wonder, but I knew she meant it well, and I told her, "well I enjoy my animals and I find they give me great pleasure, and I also like doing puzzles, so they keep me content too", and she said "that's good everybody needs something to amuze themselves"

Totally unlike me to divulge any private imformation anywhere, the doc is lucky to hear it all and my family, and a friend maybe depending on my mood, but a stranger that accpets my money for goods, just shows I guess she has caring qualities, must ask her if she's a student next time.

Anyway enough about me, do tell me all about your dog, I have two dogs, and 3 cats and truthfully dont' know what I'd have done without them ( and my family)

hello Claire , I really do live for my fur babies, my little dog is lucy lou, but gets called 'boo' mostley, hence my username . I am astonished that i had replies yesterday , what a lovely group such support, thank you, I also have two cats, a big fluffy tabby and a siamese, I would have more if i could they are all that can still make me smile on a really bad day.

Sorry booma, I know your post is 5 days old but I did think of adding that I was dreadfully depressed last year when I was medically retired, and my daughter brought home two gorgeous kittens (latest animals), to cheer me up, I think actually I told that one to the examining nurse, hmmm maybe I shoul'nt have, anyway I felt they saved my life really emotionally anyway, and anytime I feel or have felt down I played with them and loved the feel of their lovely fur, and everything to do with them, they and the rest of my animals are so sweet, anyway hope all is well love Claire xxxx

i know how your feeling , bless you. i am having a rather grim day also. i would love to go climbing hills or running along a beach, but its not to be.

Hi susie, at the moment im finding my mental state of mind even harder to deal with than my pain, Ive just been so so low but coming on here and seeing all the support has made such a differance, thank you xxxx

Hi i love your name lol and a very arm welcome to the site i am sure you will get great comfort from it on here there are people who are the same as you and you realise your not some sort of freak you are normal and it is not all in your head

this is the pkace tpo come when you are feeling low and upset or jus wanna moan or be happy does not matter no one will judge you

you can find your answers to most questions too
