Hi there I went for my pip asstment Augs 10the 2016 I phone them up they told me they sent litter out on a update on my clame if it was bad news I would get a phone call from pip is that right first time I done this. Thanks

Yes the PIP process can be tricky indeed.

Plus we have our own benefits advisor for you.

Have you contacted your local CAB Advisor ???

It seems as though some people get a letter and others get a letter and a phone call. Just hope that it is a good result for you, fingers crossed. It says on thr GOV.UK website a letter if that is any help.x

I had my pip assessment July 15th, I got a text on 19th July to say they had all the info they needed. Two weeks ago I got a letter apologising for the delay in the decision, I rang last Thursday or Friday they told me was still with decision maker & she would email that dept to ask them to look at my claim as it had been nearly 6 week since they got report.... As yet still waiting but it has been bank holiday

Hello there.

Its 8 weeks today since I went for my assessment. Have had a letter stating they are extending my DLA until they can make a decision!!!

I just feel that it'll be bad news (I was on high mobility and middle care on DLA). Haven't heard a thing now for 3 weeks. Probably get "the brown envelope" tomorrow when I won't be able to phone anyone for help!!!

Apologies for the non PMA in my reply but that's how I'm feeling today. 😞 😞 😞

Good luck not always bad news I am new to this I was talking to a nice lady on the phone she told me no news is good news. Wish you all the best
