I not even had a Atos assessment yet it may bee that may not bear to have one I hope so lol
Hi hun, don't they make you want to scream...I am trying to help my sister with PIP she has had to appeal they say 6 to 8 weeks decision,,send in as much backing for your claim from medics. G.p. Consultants, they might charge you but it will be worth it..I learned that 90%of appeals win,,so you will get it backdated.
It took about 16 weeks for me to get a response, then had a phone call two weeks ago today asking me to go for an assessment the following day! I went but now waiting to hear from them again!
My WCA Mandatory Reconsideration 'didn't arrive' at DWP in May - got in touch with MP this month & it was 'found' hiding on the system.
However, conveniently failed to reconsider decision, regardless. I objected to not being sent a pre- assessment health questionnaire, and still object. Court appeal next.
I despise dirty tricks & cheating - so find the strength to keep questioning & challenging folks!
My recent review took from February until decision in September. Reviews tend to take longer than original claims as they're not classed as priority. If you're concerned give them a call
Hi, I completed my review in May, and have had no F2F. and in September I got one of those standard letters i.e.: the amount you receive has changed (it hadn't) this is because of a change (nothing has changed) next para "we have placed you in the support group' so not sure what's going on, but it wasn't the usual Award letter. 🤔
I am in the same boat in that my renewal was in August I sent off the forms the 2nd week in August have heard not a peep I thought that because mine was a renewal and not a first claim it would have been done more quickly !!!
Hi everyone. I guess we’re all in the same boat. I came here to enquire about pip review as I had my assessment in August 2018, this was after I was late for the one scheduled in July 2018 due to poor health and their refusal for home visit. I also ended up in hospital 2 days later which made my brother attempt to request a home visit a second time, which was declined again after I came out. So I attended in August after I was told my pip would be cut off if I don’t attend.
It is stressful being poorly and suffering from the anxiety of whether your support would be taken away or not. I’ve contacted them this morning only to be told that they’re still dealing with July review so I’ll have to wait for couple more weeks.
I made it known to him/her that I’m going back to hospital next week Thursday for surgery and would like to be at ease knowing that I don’t have to stress about it. All I got was I’m sorry. My manager said it’ll take couple of weeks. I felt sorry for the customer service advisor as he/she sounded uncomfortable telling me that. The anxiety is killing me😬😬. Apologies for the long explanation
