New to site

Hello I have just joined this site,. I am 52 years old and have had fibromyalgia now for about 18 years ,. I also suffer from Arthritis, etc etc etc etc

Also hoping to find a site where we can talk, chat about anything would be so nice

Hello ladylucan and welcomebto the gang , as everyone here suffers eith fibro as well as s variety of other illnesses we usually know and understand what we are all going through . We are here 24/7 day and night as many of us suffer with sleep depravation you eill find us in line at all hours , sonif you want to ask questions have a rant or just a friendly chat there is usually some one on hand to join in , so I can tell you that you have come tonthe right place so once again welcome . Hi there Ladylucan and welcome to the Fibro. site.

I don't post often, unless of course I can help but am on here most days reading posts.

Everyone here are very friendly, helpful, kind, (sorry fibro fog, am unable to think of other words!!). What I'm trying to say is, this is the best site for fibro and other conditions, as the majority of us have other medical problems, often connected to fibro but not always.

I'm living in the U.S. and recently was saddened to see mean & hurtful behavior on another support group site that I was participating in. It's wonderful that this group knows the true meaning of "support group!"

Hi Ladylucan, you have joined a most friendly and helpful site and will get all the support you need here. I am in a similar situation as yourself and suffer with fibro, athritis scoliosis and currently waiting for Doctors to decided what to do with my other back problems. I would welcome an operation, if that's what it takes to get me "upright" and able to walk. Everyone is so nice on here and you will always have somebody to talk to when you feel low, or need advice. I hope you are feeling as well as you can be today and hope that you find all the answers you need from the site and its' members. Take care xx
