Remember to take one paracetamol for every Tramadol to get the best results 🐸

The tramodol is to be taken with my 30/500 codiene along with pregablin 4 x daily so cant take any more paracetamol

My doctor said I can only have the co-codamol or tramadol,as they inter act with each other, and the pain relief of just taking one or the other is better than 2 together,so im on 600mg pregablin, paraceramol with tramadol and just been given nefopam, are they stronger?

I am so genuinely sorry to read that you are experiencing this issue, and I want to sincerely wish you all the best of luck with your medications. I have never taken either of these medications.

All my hopes and dreams for you

I was on the tramadol/cocodamol /gabapentin mix for years until my dr persuaded me to go onto morphine instead as there were less side effects.

Shame about the chopping and changing as it can take at least a few days - if not longer to acclimatise to new meds

How did u find just the morphine please, I've been given these to start shortly as I'm about to run out of the nephapam and since you can't take co codamol as well I have to stop the 2 drugs for morphine but I'm very nervous x

The codeine part of cocodamol is similar to morphine and the Dr should have calculated the dosage using the amount of codeine that you already take.

Initially I was off the planet, but didn't care, I would lift my head of the bed and be so dizzy I'd just lay back down. took a couple of weeks to get used to it, but it's what I had to take to be able to continue to work. I did a study on the effects of morphine and working, because work started being a bit awkward. You don't necessarily become dependant as like an addict, but you still need to work up to the amount that is good for you. And the same stopping it, you need to wean off it. You can still take paracetamol and there is a tablet that contains both morphine and paracetamol. There is an argument both ways as to whether morphine does work, but for me it certainly did make a difference. And there was less side effects than with the tramadol I was already on.

My morphine wasn't specifically for fibro but due to osteoarthritis and a crumbling spine,

I'm sure I meant to say something else but I can't remember what.

There was nothing to give me as a replacement for the nefropam as I already take Tramadol and don't like the side effects of Gabapentin. So I am having to suffer at moment and a little stressed in case I get a migraine as the only thing that helped was the nefropam. My chemist did say they were told it should be back in stock for dec.keeping my fingers crossed for me and everyone else.

Most pharmacys don't appear to know that accupan is no longer manufacturing nefopam. Its now being manufactured as genetic nefopam. I went to 7 or 8 pharmacys to try to get my prescription, even the large hospital pharmacy didn't have it. I did eventually find a pharmacy who stocked it. Just checked the box, manufacturer is primegen limited, unit 15, 15 moorcroft, harlington road, uxbridge UB8 3HD, hopefully they should be able to advise you where to get it.

Had to swap from nefapam and they were helping my pain lots, now been give morphine instead of these and co codamol, very nervous bout taking the morphine, finishing last packets of the ohers 2 then looks like I will have to take the plunge, because certainly can't do with none or I wouldn't be able to work 😕
