When i first started to have severe symtoms of FB my GP tried me on naproxen with other pain relief and it worked well I changed GPs as i moved and new GP said i can no longer have Naproxen cos of long term use can cause kidney problems i was not haveing any problems with it but she insisted since then i have been given many different meds and none seem to relieve me of deep pain that naproxen did.
Anyway i was wondering if any one had the same experience with naproxen.
kindest regards

I was first put on meloxicam and then taken off it because it can cause liver problems (it was also giving me stomach ache) and then given naproxen. No GP or pharmacist has mentioned possible kidney problems and I've been on it for three months now. No follow-up either... my meds are just on a rolling repeat prescription. (I think the docs got fed up of me!) I suppose it depends how long you've been on it?
I'm also on naproxen and have been for a couple of years. I try to only take one lot a day alongside my other meds. In my case there have not been any issues and as I have recently been diagnosed with osteoarthritis in my spine and right CV joint I am glad I can have them on a rolling repeat as even the physio suggested them x
