Sleep depravation

Hi all , this is the first post after joining the group .

I have finally been diagnosed with fibromyalgia a few weeks ago after battling with the symptoms for 2.5 years .

I had to give a successful nursing career up 2 years ago because of the pain, exhaustion with very little support .

I have a question .

Can anyone advise or suggest anything that helps them get a decent nights sleep ?

I look forward to hearing from you

Thanks

Jacky

I am so genuinely sorry to read that you are having sleep issues, and I sincerely hope that you can find some resolution and relief to this problem. I am an insomniac so my advice is not really worth too much I am afraid to say. However, I have a memory foam mattress on an electric adjustable bed and it is very comfortable. I would recommend this sort of thing to anyone.

There is also the medication route if you wanted to discuss the problem with your GP or Medical Specialist? I want to genuinely wish you all the best of luck.

All my hopes and dreams for you

Ken
