The sun is shining

Man thanks for the replies and support I received after my moan yesterday. As I am sure many of us know that getting progressively more tired over a long period of time can make you more fragile and frustrated than normal. On a plus note, I have had one of the first good nights sleep in ages, when you feel like you actually have slept, and the sun is shining here in North Yorkshire.

Hope it is shining wherever you are when you read this x

The sun is shining here in Devon, though not sure how long it will last. It does make such a difference to one's mood doesn't it.? 😊😊

I hope sharing your troubles with us yesterday helped a bit ?

Thanks Foggy. Yes it did help, and I think the sun definitely does. I am trying to persuade my other half that we should emigrate. He is very much a home boy (54!), and we still have family around so I can't see it happening soon. I keep trying though.

I have been thinking of doing very much the same thing, or at least trying to find somewhere where I can go to spend the winter. Dear Betty had a home in Gozo, and she found that her pain levels we significantly reduced and that out the thought into my head that it might be a good idea. Do let us know how you get on with that.......have you any ideas as to where you might like to go ??😊😊

Probably no further than Southernish France, partner has been going to the Spinal injuries unit at Sheffield since his accident 40 something years ago, so we wouldn't go too far away. I know the warmth and sun isn't a cure, but oh wouldn't it be lovely x

I agree it isn't a cure, but I think it may make things more cope able with. I was told the South of France wasn't that much better and that southern Spain was where one would stand a good chance of much better and warmer winters........just a thought 😊😊

We can dream! Back to reality I'm off on a rare trip to the doc's. I've sort of given up hoping for anything, though he is at least a believer, but occasionally I get low enough to have another try. Hope the sun stays out for you x

Glad the Support helped and you for some restorative sleep. Yes the sun is shining in The Midlands with big white designer fluffy clouds and the Buzzards mewing like pussies in the sky overhead so all is right with the world. Good luck at the doctors I have given up on mine as since he has know. I am moving I don't think k he wants to do anything hoping that soon I will be someone else's responsibility. Let us know how you get on.

The thought of a more temperate climate would be lovely I would just like a bit more consistency without 4 seasons in one day but of course the climate is what makes our green and pleasant land (you can tell I am a fan of Jerusalem) so beautiful and diverse so we can't have it all I suppose. Take care. X
